Twilight Poem for Twilighters

Okay, so this is pretty corny but cute. :) I think you'll enjoy this little poem (Twilight Oath):

Twilight Oath:
I promise to remember Bella
Each time I carelessly fall down
And I promise to remember Edward
Whenever I’m out of town
I promise to obey traffic laws
For Charlies sake of course
And I promise to remember Jacob
When my heart fills with remorse
I promise to remember Carlisle
When ever I am in the Emergency Room
And I promise to remember Emmett
Every time there’s a huge boom
I promise to to remember Rosalie
Whenever I see something that holds pure beauty
And I promise to remember Alice
When I’m at a mall and a cute outfit spots me
I promise to remember Renesmee
When I see that beautiful bronze hair
And I promise to remember Esme
When someone tells me they care
I promise to remember Jasper
Whenever my stomach isn’t curled
And I promise to remember the Volturi
When someone speaks of dominating the world
Yes I promise to love Twilight
Wherever I may go
So that all may see my obsession
Because I know what the Twilighters know

I couldn't find who had written this poem, but I found this on newmoonmovie.org.

Eclipse Title Treatment

From EOnline:

Eclipse may have already rocked its wrap party, but the goodies from the third installment of the Twilight Saga have only just begun.

Amidst all the fun that's kicking off with New Moon hitting theaters in 25 days, the Eclipse title treatment isn't necessarily the most exciting Twi-thing going down, but it's sure worth the tease.

No, it doesn't feature new images of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart making out or anything, but we totally know there'll be plenty of that next year when the film comes out.

Eclipse gets a much sharper, daggerlike makeover than New Moon had, and sits in blood red shadows. Very ominous. Kind of like Dakota Fanning's scary red eyes.

MTV's Interview with Ashley

The tabloid covers may be dominated by Rob and Kristen, but in the hearts and minds of "Twilight" fans, there is no cover girl as dazzling as so-sweet-she'll-give-you-a-cavity series star Ashley Greene.

With "New Moon" less than a month away (hooray!), and Alice Cullen's screen time substantially increased, we caught up with the actress and occasional MTV News correspondent to get her latest thoughts on stealing expensive cars, playing board games with Kellan Lutz, and the "New Moon" cast's shared love of ... kittens?

MTV: What was your favorite "New Moon" scene to shoot?

Ashley Greene: Of course, the Porsche was incredible, the whole experience of filming [that scene]. Working with Michael Sheen, it was just really funny how he created this whole atmosphere out of the scene and could switch it up. Everything that he did was a little bit inspired, and so the whole Volturi scene with him was really fun to do. [I also love] the whole Cullen scene, when Bella gets a paper cut and Jasper goes crazy — you haven't seen that side of him yet. The performances are great, and the whole dynamic is really great. That was one of my favorite scenes to watch.

MTV: You guys have become such good friends and have so much downtime between takes. What sort of things do you talk about when the cameras aren't rolling?

Greene: Between takes? Gosh, everything. YouTube was a big topic of conversation; we were sharing YouTube videos. Which was kinda funny, because [we'd be filming a] really intense situation, and then they would yell, "Cut!" and we would have 20 minutes and we'd break out "Kittens Inspired by Kittens." It's this little girl reading a kittens book. [Laughs.]

MTV: So Alice and Bella would be giggling between all that drama?

Greene: Yeah, there was a lot of that, just a lot of giggling and laughing. During "New Moon," especially in Italy, me and Kristen were, like, the only girls. So there was a lot of girly giggling going on.

MTV: Do you feel more like Alice now than when you did "Twilight"?

Greene: I feel like I was like the character a little bit anyways. I was really excited to play Alice in the beginning because she is a really positive, bright light — and a very moral vampire. I was saying in the beginning that I felt that I was [as well], and that was relatable. At least, I try to act [positively]; I don't know if we can all the time. [Also] she's really close with her family obviously, and that was there from the get-go, so I felt like the only other thing I could do to get closer would be to become a vampire or see the future. [Laughs.] [But] fashion-wise, yes. Fashion-wise, I have become a lot more like Alice Cullen, because she is probably the most fashionable out of the Cullen clan, and I've recently become obsessed with fashion.

MTV: There's so much "Twilight" merchandise out there. Do you own any?

Greene: I have a couple shirts. I have a couple things from "Twilight" that I want to keep as memorabilia, and so I have a couple shirts. I definitely have the necklace. While filming, Kellan bought the "Twilight" game, and we played. We made Xavier [Samuel] play it, the poor new kid. We were like, "The new kid will play!" and so we had Xavier come over and Peter Facinelli came over. Me and him and those two guys and Kellan played the "Twilight" game. And I won. I'm just saying. No big deal.

MTV: What is the secret to the success of the "Twilight" film franchise?

Greene: If I told you, I'd have to kill you. [Laughs.]

New Moon Cast Tour Coming to a Mall Near You!

From MTV.com:

LOS ANGELES — Although they may daydream of sitting with Bella in the Forks High cafeteria or running through the trees with Edward, most "Twilight" fans have never had the opportunity to actually meet the famous faces who've come to personify Stephenie Meyer's creations onscreen. Now, a newly announced "Twilight" tour will bring thousands of these fans the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to converse with a Cullen.

"This November, Summit Entertainment invites 'Twilight' fans to the 'Twilight Saga: New Moon' cast tour, visiting 15 cities nationwide," the studio behind the franchise announced in a press release late Friday (October 23).

The "New Moon" cast will spread out nationwide from November 6 through 15, appearing at various malls in a move that echoes the crowd-pleasing festivities that accompanied spring's DVD release of the first film. In fact, the tour kicks off at Los Angeles' Hollywood & Highland complex, where hundreds of screaming fans greeted Ashley Greene in March.

"The nationwide tour will kick off in Los Angeles, California, at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Friday, November 6 with a special event open to the public, where fans will be treated with performances by several bands featured on 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' soundtrack," the statement explained, listing "scheduled to include" acts like Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, Sea Wolf and Band of Skulls.

At each of the events' 15 city stops, Twilighters will be treated to activities, games, Q&As with the cast and in many cities performances by the bands on the "New Moon" soundtrack.

"Fans who acquire VIP credentials on October 31 will be granted access to a special event with select castmembers at their respective malls," the press release goes on to say. "For the chance to register and meet castmembers, fans need to visit Hot Topic or select Nordstrom stores at 8 a.m. on October 31 at one of the participating mall locations. They will be given access to return and meet select castmembers at that same mall on the assigned scheduled date and time. VIP credentials provided on October 31 are limited, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to those who make qualifying purchases. VIP credentials are non-transferable."

Eclipse Wrapping Up

Although there's a few days left in the shooting schedule for "Eclipse," most of the cast celebrated finishing the third flick in the "Twilight Saga" at a wrap party in Vancouver on Saturday night. Director David Slade hosted the festivities at the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Center.

E! Online reports that although the film's female lead, Kristen Stewart, didn't make the bash, Robert Pattinson, Jackson Rathbone, Bryce Dallas Howard, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Elizabeth Reaser were there. Lutz, Greene and Reaser reportedly finished filming their portion of the flick last week.

Rathbone's band, 100 Monkeys, played to the partygoers and to the 70,000 non-human residents of the Science Center.

When MTV News caught up with Rathbone recently, he talked about some of his favorite Jasper scenes in "Eclipse." "I got to go back into my old roots, got to ride some horses again, which was nice. Got to put these riding boots to use, which is good," Rathbone said. "I actually can ride a horse."

Jasper's backstory, which takes place during the Civil War, will be told through flashbacks, Rathbone confirmed. "It was just really fantastic to get to delve in there and to get to don all the Civil War regalia and whatnot. That was a pleasure," he said. "I had to wear this wool suit of a major, cavalry major. "I got the big hat and everything. Hop off the horse, bow to these ladies, and then I get eaten. And then I get turned!"

"Eclipse" is set to wrap filming on Wednesday, just in time for the cast to begin their intense promotional schedule before the November 20 release of "New Moon."

New Moon Soundtrack Review

Chicago Tribune:

Given the multiplatinum, across-the-board smash success of the first "Twilight" soundtrack, which boosted the careers of Paramore and Muse to new heights, many questioned whether the second installment could escape being overcome by the music industry's primal desire to sink its fangs into teenagers' wallets.

Spoiler alert: It does.

"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" (Chop Shop/Atlantic) is a rare soundtrack that both avoids the usual need for already-familiar songs and the cost-cutting desire to pad out the album with no-name filler. From start to finish, "New Moon" is packed with interesting, left-of-center rock that will likely fit well with the upcoming movie.

In keeping with the movie's theme, no one really rocks out on "New Moon," though Death Cab for Cutie's trembling, Radiohead-tinged "Meet Me on the Equinox" comes close. Muse's remix of "I Belong to You" is understated, and the Killers' pretty "White Demon Love Song" is remarkably subdued. Even the usually bombastic OK Go yes, the treadmill-video guys turn in a lovely jangling ballad, "Shooting the Moon," while the normally in-your-face Black Rebel Motorcycle Club lays off the throttle on the acoustic "Done All Wrong."

While indie rockers will flip over Grizzly Bear's haunting "Slow Life" and the spare Bon Iver and St. Vincent duet "Roslyn," the album's biggest surprises are Lykke Li's gorgeous, spare ballad "Possibility" and Thom Yorke's lower-register, electro-leaning "Hearing Damage."

Of course, those surprise successes really are trumped by music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas' ability to keep the music industry vampires at bay.

Question: Have you purchased the soundtrack yet? What are your thoughts?

Eclipse Poster

I'm not sure who made this poster, but I think it's pretty cool. At first it reminded me of Breaking Dawn, Esme's Island, but then I realized that it wasn't palm trees I was looking at, it's Edward's head. Had to laugh! :-)

New Scene - From Entertainment Tonight!

Kirsten Prout Is Lucy!

From MTV Movies Blog:

Jasper's backstory just got a little bit easier to envision. The news broke last week that "Kyle XY" player Kirsten Prout joined the cast of "Eclipse," third movie in the "Twilight" series. She'll play Lucy, a vampire from Jasper Hale's (Jackson Rathbone) past who factors prominently into his coming to terms with joining the ranks of the undead.

**I was going to post this last week, but I couldn't remember who Lucy was. I even asked one of my co-workers and she couldn't remember either .... Thanks to MTV for giving me the answer. Looks like I need to read Eclipse again. Four times apparently wasn't enough. :-)**

Watch ET tonight!

This is a little late of a notice to our followers, but I still wanted to post it in case anyone happens upon this before tonight. Of course, we will be following up on this and posting as soon as possible. Thanks! This is the update I received on facebook today-
"Hey Twilighters! Just a reminder that the very first clip from The Twilight Saga: New Moon, "Jacob's Transformation" is airing on tonight on Entertainment Tonight ( check your local listings for time )."

'New Moon' Ticket-Buyer Survey

From MTV.com:

With "New Moon" about to rise in theaters nationwide, the state of Twilight Nation is entering a crucial transition period filled with questions: What percentage of the fanbase is still made up of old-school Stephenie Meyer fans? Is there faith in new director Chris Weitz? And can the sequel make more money in its opening weekend than last year's surprise blockbuster?

As Twilighters have flooded MovieFone.com, MovieTickets.com and Fandango.com to buy advance tickets for the first showings of the November 20 film, they've been leaving information about their constantly evolving thoughts on the franchise. Upon closer examination, they provide an illuminating snapshot into Twilight Nation — as if Edward himself had read their minds.

"Obviously, 'Twilight' had a huge following of book readers before the first movie was released," said Harry Medved, a spokesperson for Fandango, sharing the results of the movie-ticketing site's online survey exclusively with MTV News. "But these results might indicate that the first movie broadened the 'Twilight' following and expanded its audience — and that many moviegoers started reading the books after seeing the movie."

Indeed, the statistics indicate that that out of 2,500 recent "New Moon" ticket-buyers surveyed, an astounding 96 percent had read the novel — and 94 percent had read the entire series. But the tale gets even more interesting when you realize that 68 percent of the ticket-buyers weren't aware of the "Twilight" franchise until the first film was released in November 2008. So, in essence, only 32 percent of the fans who have bought "New Moon" tickets have been "Twilight" fans for longer than 12 months.

The next question on the survey (which would pop up after a fan purchased a "New Moon" ticket on Fandango) revolved around series newcomer Chris Weitz, who initially faced harsh criticism from the fanbase when he was chosen to replace "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke. Asked if they had faith the "Golden Compass" filmmaker would do a good job with "New Moon," 95 percent of Twilighters answered positively.

"This is a real turnaround story for Chris Weitz," Medved marveled. "Some avid 'Twilight' fans were skeptical when a man was hired to direct 'New Moon,' but ever since his presentation at this year's Comic-Con, the fans have been on his side, and they believe he can do justice to the story."

A big part of that turnaround, it would seem, is the commonly held belief among Twilighters that Weitz will do a better job with the action scenes than his predecessor would have. Indeed, 93 percent of all buyers had watched the "New Moon" trailers online, with 77 percent saying the action scenes were a main draw and 98 percent (!) saying the action glimpsed in "New Moon" looked better than "Twilight."

"The action appears to be a big draw for 'New Moon,' " Medved added, saying he expects more boyfriends and husbands to come along to the theater this year. "It may help expand its audience so that it's the ultimate date-night movie."

Last year's midnight showings made huge news — and huge money — and we can expect it to happen again next month. Fifty-three percent of Twilighters surveyed plan to see the first "New Moon" show at midnight; 26 percent will see it at a different time opening day; and 21 percent will see it during opening week or thereafter. Out of that crowd, 79 percent are making plans to bring three or more friends.

"The 'New Moon' sales continue to be strong — it's not just for the very first showtimes — and if the film delivers, you can expect heavy repeat viewings," Medved said. "It looks like the opening weekend may turn out to be a social event. You kinda have to be there."

Lastly, Fandango even has stats on the Team Edward vs. Team Jacob rivalry — and, well, it's not looking pretty for Taylor Lautner. Although "New Moon" will feature far more screen time for Jacob Black, only 17 percent of ticket-buyers said they'd choose him, while 83 percent are Team Edward.

"I'm personally bummed that Jacob doesn't get more respect from the fans," Medved laughed. "He's a nice guy, and he deserves better."

Meanwhile, sports-betting Web site Bookmaker.com has asked its odds-makers to determine how much "New Moon" will make in its opening weekend; 40 percent believe the film will take in somewhere between $66 million and $80 million. That total would put it on track to equal or exceed the receipts of the first film.

People's Special New Moon Issue - Out Today!!!

Calling all Twilighters!

In PEOPLE's special New Moon issue, which hits newsstands Friday, Robert Pattinson shares his baby photos, Taylor Lautner growls for fans and Kristen Stewart gets intense.

"Twilight is about first love; New Moon is about heartbreak," says the film's director Chris Weitz. "That requires the actors to go to some very dark places."

RELATED: Get your fix on the mortal (and immortal!) stars of Twilight

But who was the most intense on set? "Kristen may be the most serious actor I've ever encountered," Weitz reveals. "She took the job of portraying Bella's depression very seriously."

In the sequel, Bella (Stewart) turns to best bud Jacob (Lautner) after her vampire love Edward (Pattinson) flees Forks, Wash., in the hopes of giving her a normal life. But as Bella grapples with her not-so-platonic feelings for Jacob, he transforms into a werewolf.

"This is a severely emotional movie," Stewart says.

But it's not all about the drama. "It's a pretty hot movie," says Ashley Greene, who thinks Stewart and Lautner "have this undeniable chemistry."

"I get nervous trying to represent Team Jacob in the right way," Lautner admits. "This guy [Pattinson] is some pretty good competition."

"Fans ask me to growl for them, and I really don't enjoy doing that," the 17-year-old star says. "Please just wait for the movie." The supernatural romance unfolds on the big screen Nov. 20.

Access Hollywood: Behind the Scenes on Kristen's Allure Cover Shoot

So yes, you've seen the pictures, but we're (or shall I say Access Hollywood) also bringing you behind the scenes of this awesome photo shoot for Allure Magazine.
**Access Hollywood has a great behind the scenes look at Kristen Stewart as she was photographed for the cover of Allure’s November edition. Kristen talks about how much she loves what she does and her personal sense of style...

Kristen Stewart might walk the red carpet, sport couture gowns at movie premieres and do countless photo shoots – but "The Twilight Sag" star says she’s not a fan of Hollywood’s obsession with glamour.

"I go outside, and I’m wearing a funky T-shirt and my hair is dirty, and people say, ‘What’s wrong with her? She needs to invest in a hairbrush,'” the 19-year-old actress told Allure magazine in its November issue. "I’m like, ‘Don’t you get it? I’m not that girl! I never was that girl. It’s not like I was really clean-cut last year.'”
And while millions of “Twi-hards” would give anything to share the screen with Robert Pattinson, Kristen also revealed that she’s not impressed with the fame that comes along with starring in one of Hollywood’s hottest franchises.
“What people told me [when I signed on to ‘Twilight’] was that there would be a lot of fan girls, people who love the books,” she explained. “But people don’t tell you that as long as you’re living in Los Angeles, it’s a show every second of your day. It’s like the Kristen show. And it’s so boring!”
The notoriety that comes with playing “Twilight’s” Bella Swan might be a drag – but the actress thinks her character is a dream to play.
“You’re so very much with Bella. You’re so in her shoes that it’s a vicarious experience,” she told the mag. “It’s addictive.”
Kristen’s stellar portrayal of “Twilight’s” leading lady has lead to a following of legions of fans – who are known to hang on every word that leaves her mouth – something that has made the young actress apprehensive when it comes to interviews.
“I spend so much of my time guarding against sounding insincere about something that I would die for,” Kristen said. “Maybe I’m overcompensating…. I care so much. And it gets reported as the opposite.”

Interview With "The" Vampire

Ask Robert Pattinson how he's handling the global hysteria that now surrounds him and he says: "All right, I hope." Then he runs his hand through that tousled mop of his (a sign that he's anxious) and adds: "It's still sort of new."

It's almost 12 months since the first Twilight film was unleashed on the world. Twelve months since we clapped eyes on the sensitive, tortured and fiercely handsome vampire named Edward Cullen from Stephenie Meyer's massively popular novels. Twelve months since Pattinson, the 23-year-old British actor who plays the red-blooded teenage vamp, became an international heart-throb.

"To be honest, I still don't really understand what's going on," he says. "Like yesterday, I was having lunch down the road. We were in this place for a couple of hours and suddenly there was like 400 people outside on the street. It was just so nuts and it's like that all the time now."

"When the second one comes out, then I'll see how I am. Mostly I can ignore things to quite a big extent and kind of pretend they're not really happening," he says, sounding eerily calm.

"I just don't take any of it seriously. It's just a job and while it's a job I love, girls scream out for Edward, not Robert. I still can't get a date."

The real reason Pattinson is so calm is simple: "I'm not the lead in the second film. Taylor [Lautner] is." He grins idiotically. "I appear in Bella's dreams. So I'm in it but the focus is not on me. I just have significant moments at the beginning ... and the end. So I'm more of a supporting role in this one, which is why I felt so free. I didn't have to deal with any of the crap (edited) of the first one. I don't have to hold the movie or worry about the fans. I think I did it better without all those pressures."

Some New 'New Moon' Merchandise at Hot Topic

From MTV Hollywood Crush:

Thank you, Hot Topic, for giving us everything we never needed for "New Moon": an umbrella with Edwards face covering it, a t-shirt with Jacobs six pack to make up for our own lack thereof, split-moon friendship necklaces, and a shirt that makes us want to take out a restraining order (yes, we are referencing the t-shirt pictured).

All (kind of) joking aside, there is some stuff from Hot Topics new New Moon licensed gear collection that we find to be pretty interesting.

1. Bella's birthday dress

With Halloween just around the corner, what way to literally get in character than by wearing a much cheaper version (yes, even at $98 it's a steal with the original frock having been custom made by the "NM" costumer, according to Entertainment Weekly) of Bella's birthday dress? We love that the green taffeta dress with its accented black roses is subtle enough to be worn to a nice party, but a clear enough shout out to "New Moon" that all "Twilight" fans should get the connection. Just try some nice black ballet flats instead of KStew's Converse looks with this one. Trust us.

2. "New Moon" iPod/iPhone covers

Personally, I'd go with the Edward iPod Nano cover, but that's just for my preference of (good!) pictures of Robert Pattinson and my own affinity for the teenage sibling of the iPod. If RPattz isn't quite your style, you can snag an iPod cover of Jacob or the "New Moon" promotional poster. The different covers are available for various generations iPods and iPhones as well. Fortunately, this is some blatant "Twilight" paraphernalia that can be slipped off if you need to hide your deep love for Washington-based vampires, for whatever strange reason that may be.

3. Victoria's necklace

Like Bella's birthday dress, this pick is a prop replica of the necklace Rachelle Lefevre's Victoria wears in "New Moon." And, at $20, it also is a cheap addition to your Halloween costume ensemble if you're looking to dress up as a certain badass red-haired vampire. We love the subtle nature of this necklace as a part of the "Twilight" merch world. Unlike some other necklaces offered, it doesn't have "Twilight" or Edward or Bella asserted all over it. We're kinda hoping the rings hung on the necklace are souvenirs of Victoria's previous conquered vampires.

Interview with Kellan

Via NMM

"Kellan Lutz recently gave an interview to TwilightParentsExaminer where he talked about fans, staying in shape, dealing with the paparazzi plus much much more!

On the paparazzi:

Everyone’s so loving and supporting- there’s no haters. There’s so many Twilight fans that have given me presents- gummy bears or chew toys for my dog. It’s so humbling; people wanting to have a picture with me or wanting me to sign something. It’s so endearing.

But when we’re here working 12, 14, 16 hour days, on our off days we just want to be a normal human being and go get a bite to eat or go play pool and be normal. We just want to get out of our hotel rooms or apartments, but we can’t, and that’s a tough thing. And we don’t always want to have to look our best. I just love dressing comfy to go out, but we can’t because there’s always photographers there.

The other day I was working out at the gym. Photographers were shooting from across the street through the windows of the gym to me working out. I couldn’t just work out and blow off some steam. So where does the privacy start and the publicity end? When is it enough?

On Rob and the paparazzi:

There’s no way I could be doing what I do now if I were Edward. Its such hard shoes to fill compared to the fans who fell in love with Bella and Edward in the book series because they ARE the book in a way, and then you add in Jacob. For every million fans we have, they have 10 times. It’s just a different world. And like hanging out with Rob, it’s tough to see what he has to go through. It’s really tough for him because you can’t put a price on your life, your freedom, your happiness, and it’s gonna go on for a couple of years. It’s tough when you can’t even leave your hotel room to go get a coffee.

Alex Meraz Goes Vampire!

So much for being a wolf! You may not agree with me on this one, but these pictures- as cool as they are, I find them slightly creepy. What's up the shovel?!? Does he really need that? I don't think he does. You can check out his other creepy pictures here (Los Angeles Confidential Mag).

Tinsel Korey as Emily Young in Full Make-up

This is the first picture of Tinsel Korey in full makeup as Sam Uley’s fianceé Emily Young in New Moon.

"Tinsel Korey did her very first convention yesterday. She looked a little nervous at first but soon got into the swing of things. It’s obvious that she got along great with the wolfpack guys. It sounded like they had a older sister and teenage brothers relationship with that great sibling combo where you love them to pieces, but then there are times when you shake you head and just say too much testosterone in one place.

She also talked about her new castmates Boo Boo Stewart and Julie Jones, saying that they fit in right away and that is was nice having another girl (Julie) around frequently.

Tinsel also saw the promotional shot (below under the cut because it’s a large photo, shot from the display photo on Tinsel’s Q&A box, they also had huge banners of the same shot as well as copies that you could have Tinsel autograph.) for the first time. She talked about how the make up took several hours to do but that the effect was worth it.

Tinsel also said that she like both directors. They had different styles, both of which were good. (Charlie Bewley also said the same thing, more on Charlie later.) Tinsel said that David Slade is really funny and has a great dry British humor and was not at all the scary horror movie person she had first imagined."

What an awesome make-up artist, right?!?

Not Twilight related, but still cool

Stephenie Meyer announced at the end of September that The Host will be made into a movie. Yes, I'm a little late at relaying the news, but thought I'd still share it with you. Better late, than never. :) And if you've never read The Host, I recommend it to all. It starts out a little slow, but if you stick with it, it gets soooo much better. Now, I wonder who will cast as the main roles. We'll just have to wait and see...Stephenie Meyer had this to say on her webpage:

"Hey guys, great news! The Host is on its way to the big screen:

Variety.com: "Twilight's Meyer..."

I'm so excited to be working with Nick Wechsler, and Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz to bring The Host to a visual format. They've all been a dream to work with, so lovely and collaborative, and I feel like we're in a really good place to make a great movie together. And then to have Andrew Niccol writing and directing? Truly awesome. If you've never seen Gattaca, go watch it now. One of my favorite movies of all time. It's such a great example of character driven science fiction, which is ideal for The Host, no? I'm having an absolute blast imagining different dream casts, which I would post if people didn't take my silly blogs so seriously these days. I'm looking forward to seeing the cast lists you come up with in the fansite forums, and if any of them match mine.

So, very exciting. Yay Host!
