Eclipse DVD "Tent Scene" Including Hiliarious Commentary by Rob & Kristen

From MTV.com:

All right Twilighters, have we got a Thanksgiving treat for you! While "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" DVD doesn't come out until December 4, MTV News is delighted to present an exclusive clip from the highly anticipated release — complete with commentary from Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart!

This isn't just any clip either. Summit has kindly bestowed upon us a juicy little snippet from the fan favorite "tent scene."

In this clip, fans get to see the heated exchange between Edward (Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) as they discuss how Jacob will have to get into a sleeping bag with Bella (Stewart) in order to keep her warm and save her from freezing to death. Edward, of course, is not at all pleased with Jacob getting anywhere near Bella, but he must concede for Bella's sake. Jacob, taking advantage of the situation, revels in the fact that his warmer-than-normal body temperature means he can do for Bella what Edward can't.

The scene itself offers plenty of entertainment, but it's Pattinson and Stewart's hilarious voiceover commentary about the scene that really sells it.

"Slurp your coffee a little bit more," we hear Stewart say to Pattinson. "That's what the fans want."

"It's not coffee," Pattinson responds. "It's an Arnold Palmer," he says, attempting to pronounce it with an American accent.

"You're drinking an Arnold Palmer?" Stewart asks, sounding amused. "Having a little lemonade and iced tea?"

Meanwhile, Jacob has just crawled into Bella's sleeping bag, which draws Stewart and Pattinson back to the clip.

"God, he's so gross, so brazen!" Pattinson says of Lautner's werewolf. "I really don't like Jacob."

"Aww," Stewart says.

"Look at him and his tattoo and stuff. Ugh," Pattinson mock scoffs.

"He's just young and overzealous," Stewart says defending the young wolf.

"He's not!" Pattinson insists. "He does it on purpose. He's looking at me when he's saying this stuff."

"Yeah, that is weird," Stewart agrees.

"What is wrong with him? He's like, 'I don't even care about her, I just want to,' " Pattinson trails off.

"Look at him cradling!" Stewart points out, which provokes a burst of laughter from Pattinson. "His little head nooked in there," she adds.

"You look like you're milking him," Pattinson says as both "Twilight" actors break out laughing.

A terrific tease, and if that little sneak peek doesn't make you want to pre-order that DVD now, we don't know what will.

Breaking Dawn Honeymoon Rumors - False!

From Gossip Cop:

Whenever an outlet like OK! claims an “on-set exclusive,” we get a bit suspicious.

And if HollywoodLife picks it up, let’s just say it doesn’t exactly put those doubts to rest.

This week, the site hops on an OK! report alleging that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are “demanding” that producers “really push the envelope” with their Breaking Dawn sex scenes.

“They want to show tasteful but extremely sexually charged nudity,” claims an OK! “insider.” Another tabloid source says the scenes “will shock” fans when they hit the big screen, and OK! even suggests the scenes “might ruin the movie’s planned PG-13 rating.”

This is utter nonsense.

First of all, as Gossip Cop already reported, Stewart will not be naked on screen, despite rumors. Loose talk of nudity and graphic lovemaking have been linked to Breaking Dawn for weeks — and it’s simply not true.

The Twilight movies have wide appeal (as their box office power proves).

But part of the core audience is young women, many of whom are teenagers. Even beyond the fundamental fact that graphic sex isn’t in the script, producers have zero incentive to put out an R-rated product that could leave out some of the movie’s biggest fans.

So let’s put an end to these persistent, silly rumors.

Kenneth Cole to Design Bella's Wedding Gown?

From BreakingDawnMovie.com:

To design or not to design. That is the question. We previously reported, that famed designer Zac Posen was to design Bella Swan’s wedding dress in the first part of the upcoming final Twilight Saga installment. Then Zac tweeted that he was not designing the gown after all. Now we have the wonderful and talented Mr. Kenneth Cole who may be next up to bat for the coveted position.

Famed fashion designer Kenneth Cole wants to see Kristen Stewart in a whole new look for Breaking Dawn. And if he has his way, Bella Swan may be vamped up to ward off bad vampires!

On Wednesday, November 10th, we talked to Kenneth at the grand opening of the Kenneth Cole Boutique at Santa Monica Place. “The dress would repel the less than desirable vampires,” the fashion icon tells Hollywoodlife.com. “It can pick and choose. It’s a smart dress. And with that kind of dress you can make it sexy and engaging or intimidating. So it depends on how you choose to wear that black leather dress.”

So, the dress would scare off bad vampires and attract the nice ones?
Im kind of confused here. I love Kenneth Cole, but I don’t know what to make of this vision he has for Bella’s gown. And most of all…what does Alice have to say! We need this gown to stay true to the book. This is going to be a looong bumpy ride for us fans trying to sort out the rumors, the truths and the details.

Who's Got the Wackier Fans - Twilight or Harry Potter

This is just funny, and frankly, a little bit scary....enjoy ~ LOL!

From EOnline:

Watch out, Eclipse, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is already breaking box-office records.

It's true, we admire Harry Potter's creative superiority to the Twilight flicks (tho, it's the vamp stars we hold closest to our hearts), but we think it's time to really examine who really brings the crazy: Twi-hards or Potterheads.

Meet Anita, a (we can only assume) vampire bride who entered Moviefone's biggest Twilight fan contest...

Anita professes in the video above that Twilight is the reason for her existence and that she would take a bullet for any castmember. She adds it's not Robert Pattinson's hair or Taylor Lautner's chiseled mid-section that reel her in, but "the world they live in."

Please refer to the video in order to asses the girl, er, bride's level of obsession.

Now, Moviefone is also hosting a contest for the world's biggest Harry Potter fan.

While we think this worshiper equally brings the crazy (three rooms dedicated to H.P. for freaks-sake, and the guy can wear Harry Potter clothing for three months without wearing the same thing twice), the video is much more interestingly done (Just like the movies themselves).

Way clever or too much time on his hands?

You be the judge.

Zac Posen NOT Designing Bella's Wedding Dress

From TwiFans:

Designer Zac Posen spoke via his official Twitter page to address the Breaking Dawn wedding dress rumors. His response:

"Heard the bella/twilight rumor and it's just that. I design for real women..."

Well since he designed for fictional characters Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha in the movie Sex and the City 2, what exactly does Zac mean with his statement!?

All three fictional women in a Zac Posen design.

Is he talking smack about Kristen's body? Is he calling her a girl or a tom boy? LUCY [Zac] you got some splaining to do!!!

Well Mr. Posen decided he needed to change his tweet..um wonder why....and here is the NEW tweet.

Is someone trying to make TwiFans happy with his choices of REAL woman in the 2nd tweet. We think so...never underestimate Twilight love Mr.Posen.

Ashley: Working on Twilight is Like Going Back to High School

ETonline exclusively chats up Ashley Greene about sinking her teeth into 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1' and going on tour with her boyfriend, Joe Jonas.

The big screen's Alice Cullen tells us she'll probably start shooting her scenes for 'Breaking Dawn, Part 1' around the beginning of December, and she's already tackled fittings and rehearsals for the eagerly awaited flick, in theaters Nov. 18, 2011 (with 'Part 2' hitting theaters Nov. 16, 2012).

"It's going to be incredible. At this point we're so comfortable with each other, it's kind of like high school," Ashley says of working with her vampire and werewolf co-stars. "We go to summer camp and we get to come back and be with all our friends, so I'm excited."

But that's not all Ashley's fans are buzzing about. The 23-year-old beauty recently joined her boyfriend Joe Jonas on the road for a Jonas Brothers tour.

"I live for going to different cities all the time. That's part of my job that I love is being able to travel and see the world, so I'm enjoying my life right now," she says.

Adding to the excitement? Ashley's role as the new ambassador for the beauty and fashion boutique brand "mark."

"They have a very empowering message to young women that they can succeed and they can make their mark in the world… I was really drawn to their 'm.powerment by mark' program, which is dedicated to stopping the cycle of dating abuse and violence," she says.

Dakota Fanning Crowned Homecoming Queen!

From EOnline.com:

Three cheers for Dakota Fanning!

The Breaking Dawn actress and high school senior took the homecoming queen title at her L.A.-area private school on Monday, proudly donning her sash and crown next to king Henry Aleck.

This isn't the 16-year-old's first turn on the football field—the cheerleader was crowned homecoming princess last year, too.

With all the Taylor Momsens and Demi Lovatos of the world, it's nice to see teenagers in Hollywood just being teenagers.

Breaking Dawn Sparks Riots in Rio - Geez!

From Stuff.co.nz:

Riots have occurred in Rio de Janeiro over the shooting of the next Twilight film.

The popular vampire movie franchise, which is adapted from the novels of Stephenie Meyer, will conclude in two instalments; Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and Part 2.

Shooting for the first instalment has been taking place in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, although according to reports local residents are fed up with the disruption and have decided to protest.

Scenes for the movie starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are being filmed in the central Lapa district. It has been reported demonstrators set the crew's portable toilet alight because access to their homes is being restricted.

In August a shoot-out between criminals and police occurred in the hotel where crew were staying in the area, leading to tougher security precautions.

It has been suggested the film being shot in Rio will boost the city's economy by around $1 million.

Exciting News About Bella's Wedding Dress

Above: Twilight: Breaking Dawn: Zac Posen (worn here by Penelope Cruz) is apparently designing Bella Swan's

From OK Magazine:

WE spend an awful lot of our time fantasising about exactly how Twilight: Breaking Dawn will pan out on the big screen.

And one of things that is getting us ridiculously excited is Kristen Stewart's Twilight: Breaking Dawn wedding dress for the scene Bella Swan marries Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson of course).

Last month Kristen revealed she is having a tough time picking THE dress - but today we can at least reveal the designer who is rumoured to be making it.

According to reports Zac Posen whose gowns have been worn by many an A-lister (including Natalie Portman, Rihanna, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Mischa Barton and Beyoncé to name a few) is the chosen designer.

Bella's dress is described in the fourth novel as an early 1900s design that looks like it's just stepped out on a Jane Austen movie so we're imagining some SERIOUS corseting and SERIOUS volume in that skirt.

We know what Kristen is like about going for the girly look so we just can't WAIT to see what she looks like as a bride!

Former Summit Board Member Called Out For Misrepresenting The Twilight Saga

Nikki Finke from Deadline Hollywood has the scoop and the emails on this one. The long and short of it seems that there is a former Summit board member who is/was showing the movies to audiences at what were billed as charity screenings. At these screenings, actors associated with the franchise were solicited to appear. There were also set visits auctioned off without that were apparently without authorization.

According to Nikki Finke:

“Failure may be an orphan in Hollywood, but success has many fathers. I’ve learned that Summit Entertainment has sent a letter threatening legal action if this NYC-based businessman continues to “misrepresent that he’s involved in the ownership, management, decision-making, and operations” of Summit. Last time the studio warned him, he was claiming involvement with Summit’s New Moon and Breaking Dawn movies in the Twilight saga.”

See more details including the correspondence from the legal team and parties involved here.

It looks like the Summit legal team is pretty busy. Over the past year they have been/are currently involved in lawsuits stemming from people hacking into their photographer’s server and distributing unauthorized photos from Eclipse to stopping magazines from running photos for which they did not obtain the proper licensing.

Twilight Star Shares his Story of Struggle with Substance Abuse

From the University of Illinois - Daily Illini:

The University added a new member to its wolf pack this Thursday.

Star of the “Twilight” saga Chaske Spencer spoke about his battles with racism, alcohol and drugs at the Illini Union yesterday, sponsored by the Illini Union Board and the Native American House.

Spencer portrays Sam Uley in the Twilight series. Uley is the leader of the wolfpack, and the first of the Quilete tribe to make the human to werewolf transformation.

Born in Oklahoma, he didn’t move to a Native American reservation until later on in his childhood, where he didn’t make an immediate fit, he said.

“They teased me for being an apple. White on the inside, red on the outside, and I didn’t understand that,” Spencer said.

With a father for an alcoholic, he fell into a crowd of other youths from dysfunctional homes, he said.

“I’m talking dysfunction: There was mental abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse. I thought that was normal for a long time, and it is on a reservation,” Spencer said.

In his teens he began drinking alcohol. He had a lot of anger inside, and the alcohol seemed to help him deal with that, he said.

“I took my first drink, and that one can, that’s what took everything away; all the pressures away,” Spencer said.

He moved off the reservation into a predominately white community during his later teens, where he experienced more racism.

To get over feeling like an outsider, he used alcohol as a social lubricant and got himself into a rough crowd. He would drink to the point of blacking out, and often didn’t know how he got home.

After high school, Spencer went to a semester of college, but then dropped out and moved to New York to pursue an acting career, where he continued to drink excessively.

He was still able to perform on set somehow, he said. But that all changed when he started using drugs.

“Things didn’t start going downhill until my 20s, when I had my first experience with heroin,” Spencer said.

A girl he was dating at the time got him into it, and he was hooked right away. He would even go to auditions high, he said.

Though his girlfriend got him started, she couldn’t stick around when his heroin use became an addiction.

“I lost my apartment, I lost the girl, I lost my career,” Spencer said. “Next thing I know, I was broke.”

He had to leave his luxurious $3,000-per-month apartment to move to a small dirty place in eastern Brooklyn.

“I just woke up and I had enough,” Spencer said. “The other option is death.”

After checking into rehab, Spencer turned a complete 180 degrees. In rehab they showed him a video of Native Americans and alcohol, where he realized what a struggle alcoholism was for his people. He said much of the reason is because of their displacement.

After becoming sober and checking out, he did everything in his power to stay on that path.

He was on the verge of giving up acting when his agent called him and asked him to audition for “New Moon,” the sequel to “Twilight.”

Spencer had heard of “Twilight,” but didn’t really know what it was.

“I literally had maybe $30 to my name at the point,” Spencer said.

He got the part. Spencer is still sober.

He has used his starpower to start the organization Shift the Power, which puts spotlight on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. Thirteen thousand of these people are without power, heat and water due to their water infrastructure.

“It was one of the worst catastrohpes since Katrina, but the mainstream media didn’t pick it up,” he said.

Denise Poindexter, program adviser with the Illini Union Board, said her favorite part of Spencer’s speech was “the fact that he was open and honest about his past.”

Vaneitta Goines, program advisor for the Office of Volunteer programs, said Spencer’s speech could inspire students dealing wih similar issues.

“Even at this event we had a couple of students that asked questions about how to help their friends who are struggling with alcoholism or addiction,” she said.

Anne Rice Calls "Twilight Saga" a "Failure of the Imagination"

From HollywoodCrush.mtv.com:

Oh snap! The grand dame of vampire literature, Anne Rice, had some not-so-nice things to say about Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight Saga" universe in a recent interview with New Jersey's The Star-Ledger while promoting her new novel "Of Love and Evil." We're wondering if this will spark a verbal smack-down in the bloodsucking book world!

"['Twilight']’s based on a really silly premise: that immortals would go to high school. It's a failure of imagination, but at the same time, that silly premise has provided Stephenie Meyer with huge success," Anne said. "The idea that if you are immortal you would go to high school instead of Katmandu or Paris or Venice, it’s the vampire dumbed down for kids. But it's worked. It's successful. It makes kids really happy."

It's not too surprising that Anne had less-than-sweet nothings to whisper about the series that has made vampires the hottest supernatural property around and virtually diluted a genre that had been a sophisticated cultural metaphor. Still, wow, those are some pretty harsh words towards Stephenie! Anne did add that "it's almost like a stroke of genius to put vampires in high school," but that still sounds a bit derogatory to us.

When speaking about how she always viewed the vampire, Anne said, "I always thought of the vampire as being a metaphor for the outsider in each of us, the criminal, the predator. I was writing about a mythical being that represented our own dark sides." She added, "Part of the mystery of being a human being is that mixture of the spiritual and the animalian. We have the capacity to murder, but also the capacity to love and respond and be tender to those in need."

Anne was sure to emphasize that, despite the range of vampires presented in pop culture since she released "Interview With the Vampire" in 1976—from "The Twilight Saga" to "True Blood" and "The Vampire Diaries"—they are still fictional characters. "They’re fantasy characters, and we have to keep reminding ourselves of this. They don’t exist," she said. "I get e-mails from people who are outraged that I watch 'True Blood.' They say, 'How can you condone the evil of "True Blood."' I say, 'Are you kidding? Vampires aren’t real. Keep that in mind.'"

Are you surprised Anne Rice attacked Stephenie Meyer so harshly? Do you agree with what she said about the vampire genre?
