There’s no better way to ring in the New Year than with a new picture of Robert Pattinson!

R-Pattz fans and Twilight lovers have photographer Stewart Shining to thank for this new sexy photo.

Stewart recently shot Rob for the cover of Italian Vogue and decided to share his wealth with others on his Twitter.

A very nice present, indeed!

2010 in Review: The Twilight Saga Continues It's Vampiric Reign

From MTV.com:

Last year we listed off the movies, TV shows and other pop-cult gems we were most excited for in 2010, and though the Wizarding World of Harry Potter got the top spot (come on, it's a theme park), "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" was the movie we were most looking forward to. It's been a big year for "The Twilight Saga," and "Eclipse" definitely did not disappoint. As another year of "Twilight"'s domination is about to begin, we figured now would be a good time to look back at the series' biggest moments in 2010.

"New Moon" had hit theaters only several months before, but "The Twilight Saga" started 2010 off with a bang when there was reportedly some drama between Stephenie Meyer and Summit Entertainment over "Breaking Dawn," though the "Twilight" author quickly dispelled that rumor. That was followed closely with producer Wyck Godfrey's announcement that "Breaking Dawn" was gearing up to film the coming fall. We were all holding on to every will-they-won't-they rumor (3D? CGI Renesmee? One or two films?), and it took the majority of the year for any of those questions to be answered.

While we waited for more "Breaking Dawn" news, Summit announced the "New Moon" release date and two "Twilight" stars went from dating to engaged. In February we learned that we'd get a trailer for "Eclipse" before RPattz's other film "Remember Me," and found out why Robert is bothered.

A month later we got a teaser for that trailer, and then had to wait six days until we got the full-length version. We were all pretty thrilled when we found out the trailer showed Bella's engagement ring, but that was nothing compared to the excitement we felt when Stephenie Meyer announced she was releasing a novella about Bree Tanner.

While all that was unfolding, there were still a lot of questions being asked about "Breaking Dawn." Three directors had been short-listed for the job, and the stars were pretty excited about them. On April 28 director Bill Condon was chosen for the honor. Bill convinced fans he was the man for the job by writing them a letter, and an official release date announcement came soon after. Hello, November 18, 2011!

But we weren't the only ones with "Twilight" fever; Oprah caught the bug too! First she premiered an epic new "Eclipse" trailer and then showed some lucky fans an early cut of "Eclipse". Audience members gave us the inside scoop on her special "Eclipse"-themed episode, too.

There was more "Breaking Dawn" drama when rumors hit the web that Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz might not be returning for the final "Twilight Saga" film, but those were quickly resolved. And, with a month left until "Eclipse" hit theaters, the soundtrack listing was finally revealed. As if we couldn't get any more excited for the film, it was announced that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were going to be presenting a new clip from the film at the MTV Movie Awards, and we totally loved it when they did. It helped that "New Moon" swept the awards show as well.

By the time June finally rolled around, we had two things to look forward to: "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner" and "Eclipse." We camped out all night for both, and both surpassed our expectations.

With "Eclipse" out, all the focus could now shift to the final film in the "Twilight" series. Or rather, two films. "Breaking Dawn" was announced as a two-parter and the second half would be released on November 16, 2012. Wyck Godfrey also leaked that Robsten are totally an item, and we found out "Twilight" could be the most successful film franchise ever, on top of the fact that vamps have made $7 billion since 2008.

Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg hinted that there might not be a birthing scene, but she quickly retracted that statement and instead started talking about all of "Breaking Dawn"'s new vampires. There are a lot of them, and they're pretty much all cast by now. Unfortunately, James Franco wasn't one of them. But the most important casting announcement was that 9-year-old Mackenzie Foy would play Bella and Edward's daughter, Renesmee.

"Breaking Dawn" filming is now underway, and we've seen awesome paparazzi pictures of Bella and Edward's honeymoon and the Volturi hanging out. Of course, we also found out why Bella is covered in feathers. The "Eclipse" DVD release got us looking forward to a whole new year of "Breaking Dawn" news as we count down the next 11 months until the first film hits theaters. After all, there's soundtracks to be announced, awards shows to sweep and relationships to cross our fingers for in the meantime, and probably lots of "Twilight"-related fodder we can't even begin to anticipate.

Breaking Dawn Stars Visit Louisiana Children's Hospital!

From HollywoodLife.com:

He may be missing the traditional red hat, but we think Kellan Lutz makes one seriously sexy Santa Claus!

As if you needed yet another reason to love the cast of Breaking Dawn, some of the stars took time out of their busy schedule Dec. 16 to visit sick children! Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Peter Facinelli and Elizabeth Reaser brought some Christmas cheer, vampire-style, to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, La., and the kids were all thrilled to have them there.

VERY NICE!!!!

Breaking Dawn - First Look at Volturi

From MTV.com:

It's because we said we are almost more excited for "Water for Elephants" than we are for "Breaking Dawn," isn't it? Or maybe these awesome new set photos are an early Christmas present from Summit Entertainment? To be perfectly honest, it doesn't matter what the reason, we're just thrilled to get our first glimpse of the Volturi on the set of "Breaking Dawn"!

Dakota Fanning is getting some final touch ups on her make-up in this first photo, while Christopher Heyerdahl shows off his luscious locks and Jamie Campbell Bower looks on approvingly from the sidelines. In the second photo (after the jump), Michael Sheen looks a bit nervous as he reprises his role as Volturi head honcho. Maybe it's because he knew we missed him so much in "Eclipse"? Regardless, it's good to see the fam back together!

We're kind of curious about what scene the Volturi could be filming so early in production? After all, "Breaking Dawn" is going to have a pretty long shoot since they're filming both parts of the movie back-to-back. Either director Bill Condon has decided to film the final "fight" sequence really early in the production process, or the Volturi are going to have a couple extra scenes than they did in the book. We already heard rumors that Alice is going to have a vision of the fight scene, and we'll see that, but maybe there are going to be some shots of the Volturi when they find out about Bella and Edward's baby to add some continuity to the films and amp up the suspense? Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

These aren't the first pictures we've seen from the set of "Breaking Dawn," of course. Last month we saw Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart filming Edward and Bella's honeymoon, being all adorable and smooching in public. And then there was the first official photo released of the film showing the infamous feather scene. Who's counting down the days until November 18?

Ashley at NYC Eclipse Signing

Twilight star Ashley Greene was all smiles as she treated fans to signed DVDs of the latest installment of the Twilight Saga, Eclipse.

And while her co-stars Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson did not attend the signing event in New York City, Ashley had more than enough enthusiasm to go round, telling followers on Twitter after the event: 'OMG just met so many incredible fans at the Best Buy Eclipse DVD signing! I am so grateful! Love you all!'

The gorgeous actress revealed she'd come to the signing straight from a cover shoot, and after the event went out for dinner with singing-sensation boyfriend Joe Jonas.

Going for an off-duty, casual chic look, Ashley wore a black and white printed top with cut-out shoulder detailing over skinny black jeans.

But it was the Twilight star's hair that caught our attention. Moving away from her summer blonde highlights, Ashley showed off her lustrous long brunette locks, enviably volumous in a delicious chocolate hue. It's a shade we'll definitely be asking our hairstylist to recreate!

Who From Twilight Will be at the People's Choice Awards?

From EOnline:

With Eclipse leading the People's Choice Awards nominations, many are wondering who from that good-lookin' cast will be there to represent since, Breaking Dawn filming is going strong over in Louisiana.

Well, we just heard one Twilight star that will be making an appearance...

Kristen Stewart!

And we're sure there are more Twilight names to come.

Sources close to the show tell us that—as of now—our fave young starlet is set to be in attendance.

Yay! How we've missed seeing K.Stew glam it up on carpets.

There have already been some Twitter rumblings from girls in the fashion industry pulling outfit choices for Kris, so we're assuming it's gotta be for the PCA's (although all of Hollywood is currently on the hunt for Golden Globes dresses too, but uh, there are no Eclipse nom's there).

The People's Choice Awards are Jan. 5 in Los Angeles.

The cast will obviously get some time off from filming Breaking Dawn over Christmas, but we doubt Stewart will get as much of a break as she did last year.....

No word quite yet whether Rob will be at the People's Choice Awards too, but we'll keep ya posted.

We've put in a call to Stewart's rep to see if we can get official comment on her PCA appearance but have yet to hear back.

Kellan: Rob Has the Best Abs Now

From MonstersAndCritics.com:

Twilight star Kellan Lutz has revealed that he is “very impressed” with Robert Pattinson’s abs following his co-star’s intense training for new movie Breaking Dawn.

Lutz, who stars as buff vampire Emmett Cullen in the film series, told Access Hollywood that Pattinson has been training hard in preparation for the upcoming movie.

Asked who has the best abs, he said: 'I think Rob does now. Rob has been very diligent on his bicycle. He bikes a lot and he's been training.

'I'm very impressed with him and I'd say that Rob [has the best abs] now.'

Lutz added that he is looking forward to shooting his Breaking Dawn scenes with Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan.

He said: 'I'm really excited to shoot the arm-wrestling scene between Bella and Emmett because I know it's one of those scenes that the fans are really looking forward to.

'Even when I do conventions or hang out with the fans, they're excited and they're like, 'Is that going to be in the screenplay, in the movie?' And it is… and I can't wait to shoot it.'

Reese's Take on Rob!

From OnTheRedCarpet.com:

Reese Witherspoon says she finds her "Water for Elephants" costar, Robert Pattinson, "extraordinarily attractive."

The actress made her comments about the "Twilight Saga" hunk to MTV during an interview to promote her upcoming film, "How Do You Know?"

In the film, which is based on a novel by Sara Gruen, Pattinson plays a veterinarian who joins the circus to take care of the animals. He falls in love with Witherspoon's character, an equestrian star in the circus, who is married to an abusive animal trainer.

Witherspoon tells the music network that while filming "Water For Elephants," "Twilight" fans would camp out for a glimpse at Pattinson. "The only thing I can compare it to is when Leo [DiCaprio] was in 'Titanic,'" she said. "It was that kind of fervor about a person. The women lining up outside the set - it was just unbelievable - till 5 o'clock in the morning waiting to just glimpse him."

She went on to compliment her costar saying, "Robert is such a great guy from a great family."She added, "That's the thing that's so funny. He's not really this bad boy; he's just a great guy and really worked hard on 'Water for Elephants.'"

"Water for Elephants" is set for release on April 15, 2011.

Which Twilight Vampire Wants His Own Spinoff Flick?

From EOnline.com:

Anyone up for some more Twilight flicks after the franchise's last installment Breaking Dawn?

It could happen if one of the film's stars gets their way. In fact, a certain member of the Cullen clan already has a name picked out for their very own spinoff...

"The Emmett Chronicles!" Kellan Lutz told us last night at the Hollywood premiere of his film Meskada when asked about adding to the Twilight series.
"Sure, why not?" he says. "I would love to have dialogue more than one-liners. That would be amazing! Emmett really has a great side story. Just his whole upbringing and how he got turned into a vampire and his whole grizzly bear attack and how Rosalie saved him. It would be nice to see a spin[off]."

Attention Nikki Reed: Lutz wants you to join him as onscreen love interest Rosalie Hale for some extra-steamy R-rated scenes.

"You see Rosalie and Emmett go into a shack and have monkey madness fun," adds the 25-year-old. "I mean, there could be some great moments for the older fans."

Sounds pretty sexy to us!

One thing the actor won't miss when all the Twilight films are over? The pasty white complexion he rocks in the vampire series.

"I cannot wait to get a freaking tan!" Lutz laughed. "I just want to go to an island and get a real tan. The whole black and pale skin just does not work."

Feathers!!

From Examiner.com:

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are the stars of the 'Twilight Saga' movies and are currently filming the sexiest movie yet. 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' is the most romantic and sexy of the 'Twilight' books written by Stephanie Meyer and the movie promises to highlight that subtle sensuality.

Summit Entertainment has released the first photograph highlighting that subtlety and it looks pretty hot. While we don't know exactly how much sex and romance will be in 'Breaking Dawn' - remember a lot of fans are very young, it still promises to be a movie highlighting the passion between Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, played by real life couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
