Robert Calls Breaking Dawn a "Horror Movie"

From HollywoodCrush.MTV.com:

Once we got past the cover of the latest Entertainment Weekly (it took some time...look at him!), we were happy to find that in addition to talking about his latest venture, "Water for Elephants," the unfathomably fine Robert Pattinson had plenty to say about the end of the—sniff—"Twilight" era.

If fans of the series were at all worried that the undoubtedly bizarre nature of "Breaking Dawn" was going to be toned down for the next two films, RPattz all but put those fears to rest in the EW interview.

"There’s some interesting and weird stuff going on—very, very, very strange," he said of the final installment, "It’s great. For a big mainstream movie, it’s the most obscure storyline and really outside the box. It’s a horror movie. I’ve seen a few bits, and I just can’t see how it’s going to be PG 13… unless they cut everything out."

But, it seems like there's definitely some scenes we'll be wanting to keep our eyes wide open for. Robert, who said he got back in shape for "Breaking Dawn"'s numerous shirtless scenes, revealed, "Literally one day after my last shirt-off scene I started being all [mimics eating voraciously] nom, nom, nom. And I didn’t realize I had one more [shirt-off] scene, and you can see it in one of them—I’m clearly [exaggeratedly sucks in his stomach and cheeks]."

And while we're certainly not ready to let the many variations of shirtless Rob and the franchise go, it seems like he is—terrible pun alert!—ready to sink his teeth into new things. "I literally feel like we’ve been doing it my whole life," the 24-year-old said with a laugh regarding making the "Twilight" films.

But there's one aspect in particular Robert is most ready to big adieu to: those piercing contacts he wears in order to play Edward Cullen!

"Those contacts…My God, I’ll be glad to see the last of those," he said, "I actually want to get some kind of plastic explosive. I want to reanimate them into something so I can kill them. It’s embarrassing for me—after so many years, it’s still a process every single morning. Everybody else has figured out how to do it, and then there’s two people holding me down because I can’t do it myself." Uh, where do we sign up for that job?

Still, Robert, who will jump right back into "Water for Elephants" press tours as soon as "Breaking Dawn" wraps, wouldn't necessarily be opposed to starring in another franchise like "Twilight" or "Harry Potter," but only under certain conditions.

"I would [do another]," he said, "But I’d want to have more input. The only horrible thing about being part of a franchise..well, not horrible..no, it is horrible…is that the bigger and bigger you get, it’s quite difficult to break out of stuff. When you’ve been playing the same part, you can’t suddenly start playing it differently. It takes away a little bit of the creative kind of..urge."

But before Robert, who is also in the midst on working on diverse projects such as "Bel Ami" and "Cosmopolis," thinks about taking on another big screen adaptation, it seems like he's got his sights set on an even riskier venture: comedy!

While he joked that his "agents will never let me do them," the actor, who said he's read a few comedic scripts, still seems ready to take on the opportunities if they were to come his way. "Comedy is scary," he admitted, later adding, "That’s why I kind of wanted to do it. I think that’s the only way to do it: You gotta be like, "Okay, I’m going to jump off the moon."

Rob & Kristen Show Off Their "Parenting Skills" on Breaking Dawn Set

From EOnline.com:

Every couple has their own way to parent, even if the child in question is half vampire.

And since we all know our fave Twilight couple will give birth to Renesmee in the final installment of Breaking Dawn, we began wondering how the new youngster fits in with the Breaking Dawn bunch.

Turns out, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have already done some practice parenting on set.

Rob and Kris are on their best behavior around 10-year-old costar Mackenzie Foy, and they even set up a monetary penalty for cussing in front of their love child!

"[Mackenzie] is really cool, she's really smart," Rob told MTV of his onscreen daughter. "She's earned a lot of money out of us swearing around her."

As we told you back when the cast was in Baton Rouge, Kristen swore like a sailor every time the gal flubbed her lines.

It seems that Rob concurs…and he even dishes on Kristen's dirty mouth:

"I do it by accident. And especially Kristen [Stewart] does it by accident because she apologizes with a swear. She's like, ‘Oh s--t, aaugh!' and she just can't stop [swearing] for about 15 minutes."

Guess that rumor shouldn't have been "debunked" after all.

So how does Mackenzie react when mama Kris curses?

"[Mackenzie] just waits there [with her hand out]," R.Pattz explains, as he gushes about his two leading ladies.

What an adorable family you and Kristen have created on set, Rob!

We can totally tell how much you heart the beauty, and we think it's great how hard you both are trying to set an example for the youngster.

Keep up the good parenting, Robsten!

Bye, Bye Swan House

From NewsFlic.blogspot.com:

The white frame movie set house was located on 28th ave between 188th Ave and 184th Ave. It sat on Kerry Park for about six weeks. They used the location house for one day and two scenes. The front of the house was decorated for Christmas. I have deduced the scene included Bella as a Vampire, Charlie Swan and little Renesmee. Bella brings Renesmee over for Christmas. The second scene included Emmett, Jasper and Edward. Emmett and Jasper arrive at the Swan house to pick up Edward for the Bach party. I am really just putting pieces together to arrive at my conclusion based on the house set up and the cast that were in Vancouver on that Friday for filming. That and the stunts I filmed a few days earlier. Check my archives for the footage.

Today the deconstruction began and it will never be built again. It took three weeks to build and a few days to take down. It will be put in safe storage somewhere in the event that Stephanie Meyers ever finishes Midnight Sun and that book is made into a movie. Let's lobby Stephanie to finish the final book and make one more Saga Movie.

Wedding Scene to be Filmed in April

From AceShowBiz.com:

Rumor has it, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are going to walk down the aisle for "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn" next month. Gil Birmingham, who plays Billy Black, allegedly revealed at the Volturi Ball that the wedding scene between vampire Edward and mortal beauty Bella will be shot in the first week of April in Vancouver, Canada.

In the meantime, the cast and crew of "Breaking Dawn" have headed to Orpheum Theater in Vancouver to continue the production. Sources tell Hollywood Life the filming takes place in the lobby, while outside the theater fans and photographers are waiting to get a glimpse of the stars.

Production for this final "Twilight" movie is allegedly scheduled to wrap up on April 13. Recently, on March 11, the shooting was suspended for a while due to a tsunami warning that was released following the tsunami in the Pacific that hit Japan earlier the day. The cast and crew were evacuated from the set at Vancouver Island beach area in British Columbia to base camp.

"Breaking Dawn" will follow Edward and Bella whose newfound married bliss is cut short when a series of betrayals and misfortunes threaten to destroy their world. Bill Condon serves behind the lens for the two-part last installment of "Twilight" film series.

Artist Paints Robert for "Most Wanted" Exhibit

From Celebs.Gather.com:

Artist Richard Phillips paints hottie Robert Pattinson for his “Most Wanted’ Exhibit in London. After all, Rob is one of the most sought-after young Hollywood stars. Girlfriend and co-star Kristen Stewart is also featured, but Rob was the biggest challenge.

Phillips dishes why he chose the “Twilight” hunk and why it’s difficult to capture his expressions. “It's that kind of knowing smirk or that sexy look in his masculine, yet feminine qualities that people die for that's a hard thing to grab,” he tells Hollywood Crush. Let’s not forget the sexy, messy hair he’s famous for. Those languid eyes. These are not easy features for an artist to get right. The three-day shadow is there too.

Phillips nailed Robert Pattinson with a painter’s trick. “Having the highlight in his one eye and no highlight in the other eye gives him that knowing look.” Perfect job. Click here for a view of the painting. The exhibit is over, but likenesses of Kristen Stewart, Zac Efron, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Taylor Swift, plus some others, will be around forever.

Breaking Dawn Star Running an Ultra

From Running.competitor.com:

He’s doing it for charity.

Teenage girls have yet one more reason to fall in love with Breaking Dawn’s Charlie Bewley: He’s running an ultra marathon. For those not familiar with the teen saga, Breaking Dawn is the fourth and final book of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Series that is being made into a movie. The film is scheduled to be released in November.

According to his Web site, Mr. Bewley is running the ultra as part of the BMO Vancouver Half Marathon and Marathon. He’s doing it in honor of actor Joceyln Clarke, a friend of his and stand-in for Dakota Fanning in New Moon. Clarke recently lost her fight with cancer.

Proceeds from Bewley’s ultra will benefit The Lions Gate Hospital Foundation.

“Since Jocelyn has passed away, I will now be running for the money you have kindly donated to those responsible for treating her illness,” Bewley writes. “So that many others may be given the opportunity to fight as Jocelyn did.”

Rob Shows Off Piano Skills

From Celebs.Gather.com:

"Twilight" star Robert Pattinson surprised some people by playing the piano during his Vanity Fair Magazine photo shoot. The hunky Brit is actually a very talented musician, which may shock some fans.

Robert Pattinson sat down with the world-famous Preservation Hall Band in the French Quarter of New Orleans during his Vanity Fair photo shoot. In the newly released outtake, Pattinson is seen sitting at the piano, an instrument that he excels at playing.

“When we first started, none of us knew that Robert really does play piano,” Ben Jaffe, the tuba player, band’s director, and the son of the venue’s founders revealed. “But when he got up there, he started ticking out these notes, and it was obvious he wasn’t just tinkling—he really knew how to play.”

Pattinson is also an amazing guitar player, and has a beautiful, soulful, singing voice. Rob even had two songs featured on the 2008 "Twilight" soundtrack. It seems that Robert Pattinson is a jack of all trades. Perhaps someday in the future, fans will get to hear his musical abilities showcased more.

Rob's Vanity Fair Interview

From Vanity Fair:

“It’s just very traumatic,” Robert Pattinson tells Vanity Fair contributing editor Nancy Jo Sales of his rumored romance with co-star Kristen Stewart. “When this is over,” Pattinson says of Twilight mania, “the media will lose interest [in the relationship]. There’ll be nothing to say. It won’t fit into a headline anymore. It won’t fit into a template.”

“Kristen is very focused on being an actress,” Pattinson says. “I mean, that’s what she is—she’s an actress. Whereas I—I just don’t really know.” Pattinson also admits to Sales that he has admired Stewart for a long time. “She’s cool. Even before I knew her I thought she was a really good actress. Like, I saw Into the Wild, and I thought she was really good in that. I still think there are very few girls in her class that are as good as she is.”

Stewart aside, Pattinson reveals his true favorite co-star: Tai, the Asian elephant he worked with on his upcoming film, Water for Elephants. “She was the best actor I ever worked with in my life,” he says. “I cried when the elephant was wrapped. I never cried when anyone else was wrapped.” The film’s director, Francis Lawrence, confirms the on-set romance, saying, “I wouldn’t be surprised if Rob says the reason he took the movie was because of the elephant. He really fell in love.”

On set for Water for Elephants, Lawrence recounts how “news got out, and riding down the road to the set it was like Woodstock. Cars for two miles. People camped in the grass.” Pattinson’s co-star in the film, Reese Witherspoon, tells a similar story: “I’d never seen anything like that, ever. They were waiting at five o’clock in the morning to see him. Young girls. Where are their mothers?” “Rob could get ripped to shreds. They will rip the clothes off his body and pull his hair out,” Lawrence adds.

Having developed a fear of crazed fans in airports, Pattinson tells Sales about his roadtrip from Los Angeles to the set of Breaking Dawn in New Orleans, using only service roads and an iPhone to navigate. After stopping at a bar in Lubbock, Texas, Pattinson recalls experiencing a rare moment of anonymity. “No one recognized me or anything,” he says. “And I was like, Ah, this is really cool, sitting there eating chicken wings and stuff.” Before long, however, Pattinson’s fans tracked him down. “They always find out somehow,” he says, recalling how the street outside soon filled with 1,000 people, all hoping to catch a glimpse. A bouncer asked him, “You want us to go and knock someone out?,” and Pattinson says, “I was like, ‘What are you talking about? You don’t need to hit anybody.’ ”

Pattinson, whose e-mail has been hacked into twice by teenagers, insists to Sales that, despite the hype his fans have created, he’s not all that exciting. “I’m, like, a compulsive eater. I’m going to be so fat when I’m older, it’s ridiculous,” he admits, revealing Pretzel M&M’s as one of his weaknesses. Pattinson also admits that while he doesn’t “do anything, ever” in terms of scandals—which Witherspoon attests to, saying, “I hear so many horror stories about young actors with attitude showing up late or hung over, and there wasn’t any of that. He worked so hard”—he admires Charlie Sheen and his “little escapades,” explaining, “I like crazy people who don’t give a (bleep).”

Perhaps not coincidentally, Sheen is the star of one of Pattinson’s favorite shows. “I’ve just kind of stopped doing everything,” he says. “I never change the channel in my trailer. I just watch reruns of House of Payne and Two and a Half Men. I love Cops—I think it’s my favorite TV show… God,” he says, laughing, “I sound like such a loser.”

“There’s nothing you can do about it. That’s the way it is,” Pattinson tells Sales of the Twilight mega-fame that has changed his life. “But it is weird being part of that, kind of representing something you don’t particularly like … God. I just really headbutted it.” Though Sales conducted the interview while Pattinson was filming the fourth and fifth installments in the series, he admits that he still has trouble grappling with the implications of being so famous. “This thing with everyone knowing you … it’s weird, because people have this one-sided relationship where they look at your picture and feel they know you more than someone they actually know,” Pattinson says. “I don’t really know myself that well.”

“I can’t really understand it even now,” Pattinson says of Twilight’s appeal to legions of fans. “It does have an angle which is attached to something quite primal in girls. I guess people want it to define them, like ‘I’m a Twilight fan.’… I think people really just like being part of a crowd. There’s something just tremendously exciting about hyping yourself up to that level.”

The April issue of Vanity Fair hits newsstands in New York and L.A. on Thursday, March 3, and nationally and on the iPad on Tuesday, March 8.

More Steamy Scenes for Breaking Dawn?

From EntertainmentWise.com:

It looks as though the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn is about to get a lot steamier, after it was reported that there will be more than one sex scene in the final film of the franchise.

Revealing that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be getting hot under the covers more than once (jealous?! us?!), Jackson Rathbourne who plays Jasper Cullen revealed to E! Online:

"It's a PG-13 movie, but also it is what it is and it's a union. They are consummating their relationship and they don't just do it once, let's put it that way."

He added: 'It's definitely sexy. It definitely qualifies as "shmexaaay".

The actor also revealed that the chemistry between Rob and Kristen, who were spotted kissing at a pre-Oscars party, will "sizzle. It sizzles like bacon!"

November needs to hurry on up!

Possible Older Renesmee?????

From Zap2It.com:

Get this girl an IMDB page stat.

With the final "Twilight" movie(s) in production in Vancouver, it's time to tie up those last few casting loose ends. Including that of Bella and Edward's growth spurt prone daughter Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy will play her as a child).

According to the latest round of rumors, Christie Burke has been added to the list. Who is Christie Burke? Well, if you like gum you may have seen her Wrigley's commercial (And, yes, we're hunting for it. Will post when/if it's found). Other than that, she hasn't done much.

Although we are proud to say that we're among the handful of people who saw her guest turn on Cartoon Network's live action series "Tower Prep." And, as we recall, she did make a favorable impression on us at the time.

But if speculation holds true that her role will be limited to a flash forward montage, chances are she's not exactly going to need any great acting ability. Just looking the part should be enough. Half Kristen Stewart, half Robert Pattinson. The job requirements could be worse.

Since in the "Twilight" world, human/vampire babies age at an accelerated rate, several actresses are expected to play Renesmee. While Foy will do all the heavy lifting for the purpose of the story, other names that have been thrown out there include Eliza Faria, Janelle Frohleich, Sierra Pitkin and Rachel St. Gelais.

The Oscar's Twilight Surprise? - AUTO-TUNE!

From HollywoodCrush.mtv.com:

Even though the "Twilight" and "Harry Potter" movies aren't exactly Oscar bait, and even though the casts thereof were notably not in attendance at tonight's (last Sunday's) 83rd Annual Academy Awards, fans of the wizard-and-vampire genres still had a good reason to tune in for the broadcast: a highly anticipated, majorly hyped musical moment about halfway through the show. GAH, the excitement! What could it be?!

Well, tune in we did—sticking it out through seven acts of chatter, back-patting and James Franco in a magenta dress to see it. And while Robert Pattinson didn't show up (sorry girls, we know you're disappointed), what did happen was something even more extraordinary.

And by "extraordinary," we mean "T-Pain would have LOVED this."

Yep, you heard us right: In the absence of so many of our favorite celebs, the producers of tonight's awards made up for it by giving us homemade music videos—courtesy of some creatively-clipped dialogue and a LOT of auto-tune—for blockbuster movies including "Eclipse," "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," "The Social Network" and "Toy Story 3."

Our favorites? "HP7"'s "Tiny Ball of Light" (featuring the vocal talents of Ron Weasley) and "Doesn't He Own a Shirt," featuring... well, Taylor Lautner with no shirt on, so who even cares about anything else. Drool.
