Kellan Lutz's Interview with Saturday Night Magazine

Here's a portion of Kellan's interview with SNM. I thought this part was pretty funny. I'm sure they all have stories like this to tell. I do feel sorry for them sometimes, but I guess they know that's the price of fame and fortune :-)!!

How have you been dealing with all the fan attention? Any crazy fan stories?

"Haha yeah… There have been so many funny stories! I live next to a high school and my roommates had a fun idea to go and check out the local high school football game and just hang and watch a game and eat stadium food. So a group of us went to the game and as soon as I bought my ticket, my buddy got the feeling that someone was following us. He was right. As soon as we got to the hot dog stand, this girl said “ Kellan I love you. Can I have a picture?” She was shaking so much which I thought it was very cute and of course we talked for a bit and took some pictures and we said goodbye. We finally got our food and found seats and all of a sudden groups of kids kept coming up to our seats asking for pictures and autographs and wanting me to sign everything from their jeans to their shoes. It was funny and very flattering; I was barely able to watch the game. I guess I should have thought twice about it being a high school football game … but still, it was a fun night.

The fan attention's fun and I'm very flattered. Everyone I have met has been so kind and sweet. We know what big fans of Twilight they are so we just want to please them as much as we can."

Robert Pattinson in DALLAS on Nov. 11th

**He is coming on Nov. 11th to the Galleria. See our "Twilight Talent Tours" post for details (above) **

**Update** From Twilightseriestheories.com: “Unfortunately, now Rob Pattison cannot get in to Dallas in time to do our Victory Plaza event or be on TV with Gary Cogill (and I have told Gary ). The autograph event later on in the afternoon is still happening (time/place/tbd). Just stayed tuned!”

I, personally, have not been able to verify this with the Good Morning Texas website, but if it's true, I'm sure we'll be hearing about it pretty soon on TV. Anyone want to go with me? I'm definitely in ~ it's super close to my office.

Here's what's being reported by Twilight Series Theories:

"That’s right, Rob will be in Big D! I have some specifics for everyone, that I got from Good Morning Texas…

"YES...Robert Pattinson will be "live" on Good Morning Texas in our
Victory Park Studios In front of the AAC on Tuesday Nov. 11th...they are
planning a big deal outside our studio that morning...
Hope that helps...
He will be on "live' at 9 am or a few minutes before...get there
early...might be a big crowd..."

Movie Run Time

“Today, the studio behind "Twilight" has announced the film's official runtime, and it is three numbers that should bring a smile to the face of Stephenie Meyer's loyal fans: 120 minutes."

Love Story Video

I know we've seen tons of videos, but this has to be my favorite fan-made video so far!! Check it out....... I love the song, it's by Taylor Swift. It makes me want to see the movie right now!!!

Twilight Soundtrack

The Twilight soundtrack will hit stores on October 28 MTV reports:

"Now, a big name is joining Stephenie Meyer's beloved franchise: former Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell."

MTV also confirms some of the bands that will be featured on the soundtrack:

"In addition to appearing in the movie itself, the Farrell song will be featured on the "Twilight" soundtrack scheduled to go on sale October 28. The filmmakers have already confirmed that actor Robert Pattinson will have two songs in the film. Paramore will also contribute two tracks, and Meyer faves Muse will have one as well.

Judging by Farrell's comments, "Go All the Way" would seem likely to exist during one of the many romantic scenes between Pattinson's Edward and Kristen Stewart's Bella. Additional details about the film's soundtrack are expected to be announced over the next several days."

Full Article

However, Stephenie Meyers website confirms a NEW date for the album to be released- November 4th. Stephenie's reps did confirm that Paramore will be featured on the soundtrack, and here's what Hayley Williams from the band had to say about being a part of the Twilight soundtrack:

"Twilight is the first series of books I've ever read. I didn't get into the Harry Potter series even though I love the movies. Twilight really caught my attention and held it. I'm really excited to see the book adapted to film and excited that our band gets to be a part of the phenomenon. I chose the title "Decode" because the song is about the building tension, awkwardness, anger and confusion between Bella and Edward. Bella's is the only mind Edward can't read and I feel like that's a big part of the first book and one of the obstacles for them to overcome. It's one added tension that makes the story even better."

To read the full article on Stephenie's website and to listen to the song DECODE, click HERE.

The soundtrack can also be pre-ordered on Amazon.com or of course you can fight the crowd in stores on NOVEMBER 4th! Mark your calendars everyone!

Esme's New TV Show

Elizabeth Reaser, better known to all of us as Esme Cullen, will be starting in her own TV show which premiere's this Friday, 10/3 on CBS. Funny thing is: On this show, her name is Bella.

Here's a summary of the show:

“THE EX LIST is a comedic drama about Bella Bloom (Elizabeth Reaser, Grey's Anatomy) - a single, 30-something, successful business owner who is surprised to learn from a psychic that she's already dated her future husband AND there's a catch: if she doesn't find him in the next year, she'll remain alone forever. During a bachelorette party for her sister, Daphne (Rachel Boston, American Dreams), Bella learns from the psychic she must revisit her past relationships and sort through the mistakes to find her soul mate."

Did you know Esme was on Grey's Anatomy??? I didn't, but then again, I don't watch that show. I will check out this premiere, though ~ I hope it's good!

Read what Professor Amy Clarke REALLY has to say

Professor Amy Clarke of the University of California, expert on teen literature, has recently been quoted in the Washington Post and also by writer, Leonard Sax, for her views on the Twilight novels. What we didn't know is that she says she was misrepresented in these articles, one of which we posted not too long ago on this very blog. She commented yesterday telling us of this error. To read her actual views and thoughts on the books, go to this website and read the interview she did there. We are sorry Amy for posting this misrepresentation. We, of course, had no idea and apologize. To quote Amy, "Just goes to show that you can't trust everything you read in the newspaper." Sad, but true.
