Time Magazine Article - Stephenie Meyer

I'm sure most of you have already read this article, especially since it was written back in April, but I just found it the other day. It does compare Stephenie to JK Rowling, which I think has been completely overdone, but I did enjoy the article.

My favorite part is: "Resisting that temptation is a constant struggle. Edward's choice--and the willingness to choose a different way in general--is a major theme in Meyer's books. "I really think that's the underlying metaphor of my vampires," she says. "It doesn't matter where you're stuck in life or what you think you have to do; you can always choose something else. There's always a different path."

This is true. You don't find that very often. It's very refreshing!

Edward being such a gentleman and not taking advantage of Bella has a lot of appeal and makes it a true love story.
