Okay, this is just ridiculous. Come on people!
From TheSkiChannel.com:
While we know that "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" opening was damaging to the ski resort industry, but now another business is taking the Twilight hit, as the film's stars continue to cause folks to act a little crazy.
First, people were doing the unthinkable - ditching powder days - in favor of taking in screenings of "New Moon," and now it appears the Twilight craze has invoked the inner criminal tendencies of numerous 'Twi-Hards.'
Fast-food chain, Burger King, has been reporting widespread, rampant thefts of their life-size posters featuring "New Moon" cast-members Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. As many as three different states have seen their posters targeted, and additional reports keep piling in.
Rabid teenage girls have been using their quick, youthful legs to run up to store windows (often in broad day-light) and perform the old "smash and grab," minus the whole smashing part. So far, Burger King claims they have no leads to any of the suspects.
For the sake of Twilight fans everywhere, I just hope a hero like Max Steel can waltz in to save the day, so the public can continue to enjoy the sex appeal of Pattinson and Lautner, even while grabbing a "Whopper."

Seriously? That is crazy!
Back-in-the-day (Geez, that makes me feel old), when BK had the promotion for the Backstreet Boys (Don't laugh!), I just asked if I could have things when the promotion was over. One Burger King gave me the huge banner from the yard, another gave me the life-size cardboard display. Needless to say, I was a very happy 14-year-old.
I thought about asking for New Moon stuff, but I was a little late in the game.. I assumed that it was all already claimed. I don't recall any life-size Rob's or Taylor's. Maybe someone already stole ours..
WOW how did these teens even have enought time to grab those cardboard cutouts and run?! Maybe the BK staff doesnt care much about have rob and Taylor in the store.. lol.
and to BackstageBarbie... i totally remember those BackstreetBoys BK promos! haha sooo back in the day! good times though
