Breaking Dawn Fleshes Out the Denali Coven

From NewsInFilm.com:

Casting is rounding out for the two-part The Twilight: Breaking Dawn just before production gets underway in Baton Rouge. Summit Entertainment and director Bill Condon have selected four more actors to join the Denali coven, an ally family of vampires to the Cullens.

“Lost” actress Maggie Grace is already set to play Irina, a traitorous member of the family. According to THR, Eleazar, the Denali patriarch with the capability of identifying others’ special powers, will by played by “Dexter” season one star Christian Camargo. His mate, Carmen, will be portrayed by “Alias” actress Mia Maestro.

MyAnna Buring (The Descent) will play Tanya, a vampire who once had a “crush” on Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), making for a bit of a rivalry with series protagonist Bella (Kristen Stewart). Casey LaBow, who acted with Twilight alum Ashley Greene in Skateland, is playing Kate, a vampire with the ability to generate electric current through her body.

The production, which spans from November 1 to March 15 in Baton Rouge and Vancouver, will not be shot in 3D, but that does not rule out a post-conversion process before The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 hits theaters on November 18, 2011. The second and final installment is set for November 16, 2012.

- Christian Camargo as Eleazar

- Mia Maestro as Carmen
