Best "Twilight" Saga Scenes

From Gael Fashingbauer Cooper, TODAY.com's movies editor.

Need to brush up on your "Twilight" saga vampire romance before "Breaking Dawn" comes out on Nov. 18?

You can now do just that, big-screen style. Summit Entertainment has announced that it will re-release "Twilight," "New Moon" and "Eclipse" in theaters in the weeks leading up to "Dawn's" premiere. Check your local theaters for exact schedules, but the "Twilight" screenings will start Nov. 1, "New Moon" on Nov. 8, and "Eclipse" on Nov. 15.

To stir your "Twilight" blood further, here are our favorite scenes from each of the films.

'Twilight'
The prom, maybe? Are you kidding? VAMPIRE BASEBALL! They even have old-fashioned uniforms and striped socks, and they can play only in thunderstorms because the thunder hides the incredibly loud noise generated when they hit the ball at approximately eight jillion miles per hour. And once the Cullens suit up to toss the ol' horsehide around, whoops, three uninvited vamps show up and start gunning for Bella. But in the meantime, VAMPIRE BASEBALL!

'New Moon' Oh, the Volturi. Forget Bella and Edward and Jacob. I would read an entire series of books just about them. Anyway, Edward thinks Bella is dead so he goes to Volterra, Italy, to reveal himself as a vampire in public, knowing the regal Volturi vamps will have to kill him then. So in the middle of an Italian square full of red-robed extras, he de-shirts, and Bella races across the square just in the nick of time to save him. Team Volturi!

'Eclipse' At long last, Jacob gets a little lovin'. Long story short: Bella is freezing and Edward can't warm her since he's a vampire and is icy cold all the time. So she gets in a tent and snuggles with a shirtless, hunky Jacob. Then while she sleeps, the boys have a taunt-off. It's deliciously sixth grade, and Taylor Lautner looks really good without a shirt.

What are your favorite scenes?

Robert is Glamour UK's Sexiest Man Alive!!

From PerezHilton.com:

Who run the world? R-Patz!

The people have spoken and according to the Twi-Hards who rule the Internet, which includes Glamour UK's poll to find the sexiest man alive, Robert Pattinson has been awarded the title for the second year in a row.

The mag doesn't seem too surprised by this - nor are we - explaining:

“So for the second time on the spot, R-Patz is crowned your sexiest man on the planet. He’s wrestled the top spot from his co-star and — votes combined — proves the love among the Twi-hards is still strong. And that’s only set to intensify when Breaking Dawn hits cinema screens next month. Yes. you’ll once again get to ogle Edward in all his brooding, marble-skinned glory! Oh and we finally get to see the big sex scene. Team Edward, prepare to lose your shiz!”

Prepare? Girl, their shiz was lost three years ago and has yet to be regained!

We can feel it in the air. This is only the beginning. Some might call the coming season autum, but we know better.

It's Twi-Fall!!! How many days till Breaking Dawn?

Kristen Calls Robert "My Boyfriend" For The First Time

From Hollywoodlife.com:

In one of the most revealing interviews she’s ever given, Kristen Stewart calls Rob her English boyfriend! Plus, she talks about having babies and getting married!

For nearly three years, we’ve watched Kristen Stewart‘s every move, using it as evidence she’s actually dating her Twilight co-star, Robert Pattinson. Now, in the British GQ, the 21-year-old actress accidentally slipped on the one secret she held near and dear: her relationship with the English actor.
While discussing her time in the UK, Kristen said she was excited to see more of the country because “my boyfriend is English.”

However, when the interviewer pushed her to elaborate, she got frustrated.

“I never would have said that if I knew you were going to be interviewing me,” she said. “Yeah, I know it is. So much of my life is so easily Googled. I mean, it’s like, ‘C’mon guys. It’s so obvious.”

She added, “But this subject, I don’t think you realize what a big deal it is for people. Well, it is a big deal. And right now, even me talking about it like this is a big deal..... There would also still be a 50/50 split. Some people would still be, ‘See, told you they’re not together.’”

Kristen went on to explain her rationale behind trying to keep her relationship with Rob private.

“I don’t worry about it at all,” she admitted. “It’s just one of those things. I’m selfish. I’m like, ‘That’s mine!’ And I like to keep whatever is mine remaining that way. It’s a funny little game to play and it’s a slippery slope. I always say to myself I’m never going to give anything away because there’s never any point or benefit for me.”

She continued, “I guarantee whenever I get married or have a baby, everyone is going to want to know my kid’s name and I’m not going to say it for ages. That’s just the way I want to do it. It’ll come out but it won’t have come from me. They’re going to be really p***ed off that I won’t say it and I’m going to say, ‘No!’ I also have that desire to blurt stuff out, but I’ve learned I can’t do that. Now when you realize the whole world is listening. That’s why perhaps I look so uncomfortable in interviews at times. I mean, we’ve talked about hiding things and I’ve had to get much more adept at that, sadly. But I’m glad I’m not one of those actresses who is just so ready to open up for everyone.”

We’re still shocked Kristen even said that much! Normally shy in interviews, she sure opened up…

The Joy Formidable Surprised by Spot on Breaking Dawn Soundtrack

From MTV.com:

There are some bands prepared for the increased attention that a spot on a "Twilight" soundtrack brings. And then there are bands like voluminous rockers the Joy Formidable who, despite snagging the opening slot on the upcoming "Breaking Dawn" soundtrack, remain blissfully unaware of everything to come. Or, really, everything about the "Twilight" series, for that matter.

"I can't say I've ever read one. I haven't seen the films either, but I have heard the soundtracks, and I was familiar with some of the songs, you know, Metric and the Black Keys," frontwoman Ritzy Bryan told MTV News. "So I was more aware of the musical side of 'Twilight' than I was the books or the movies. Actually, I know very little [about the books]. I know they're about vampires, and I know they've connected very much with an audience ... so they're obviously much enjoyed by a lot of people."

And yet, despite all that, their contribution to the "Breaking Dawn" soundtrack — a ringing, downright desperate song called "Endtapes" that will be the album's lead-off track — fits seamlessly; mostly because, as Bryan explained, it is very much about the themes that remain central to the "Twilight" series.

"The song was written at the same time as our album, and because of that, it has a lot of the tone and the feel of the album. And those songs, there's a lot of turbulence going on, and it definitely chronicles a year that was very turbulent on one hand, but you know, it's me trying to push for that hope and that sense of optimism," she said. "It's a song that captures that spirit. It's a song about the frustration of not being able to have closure on a difficult situation."

And given that, unlike fellow "Breaking Dawn" artist Christina Perri, she's basically oblivious to the entire "Twilight" phenomenon, Bryan has no idea where "Endtapes" will be used in the upcoming "Breaking Dawn" film ... shoot, she's not even sure she and her bandmates will get invited to the premiere. That doesn't mean they wouldn't go, of course.

"I don't know anything about that! If we get an invite, I wouldn't mind going to the cinema. I haven't been to the cinema for such a long time," she laughed. "We've been perpetually on the road for about a year and a half, and we watch lots and lots of DVDs in our van, but a trip to the cinema would be wonderful. I would have to do some laundry, but that would be fine!"

Dakota is Picking Clothes for College

Dakota Fanning just celebrated her move from Los Angeles to New York at her first Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, but the star is busy tackling an even bigger milestone now: starting her freshman year at NYU.

“Going to college is a bit different than going back to high school,” the new student told PEOPLE recently at a Marc Jacobs bash. “You can kind of wear whatever you want, and I had a uniform in high school.”

But don’t think you’ll catch Dakota, who’s living in a Manhattan apartment instead of the dorms, taking on sloppy student style. “If you ever catch me in sweatpants in class, that’s not good,” joked the star. “I’ve tried not to dress like that.”

However, the Los Angeles native did come prepared for the East Coast temperature changes — sans sweatpants. “I knew to bring a lot of coats, and my Hunter rain boots,” she shared. Still, Fanning admitted that shopping for school is intimidating. For instance, “What pencil case do you buy for college?” she asked.

Fanning might have a little help in the wardrobe department courtesy of her pal Marc Jacobs. The actress — a muse for his line (as is her sister) — serves as the face of his latest fragrance, Oh, Lola! “It’s been such an honor to work with someone who you admire and actually love wearing their clothes and love their brand,” she said. “I think Marc is such a genius and so creative, and I think he proves time and time again that he can do anything. To be involved in anything he touches is a pleasure.”

Though the Oh, Lola! campaign stirred a bit of controversy thanks to its provocative imagery, Fanning said she had a blast during the photo shoot. “It was amazing,” she told reporters at a recent Oh, Lola! event in N.Y.C. “Getting to work with Juergen [Teller] again, it’s always so much fun.”

And she definitely had faith in her crew — and the designer. Fanning showed up to set without having seen the bottle, and unaware of the scent’s smell. “I got there … and it was exactly what I love, and it’s pink — which is my favorite color,” she shared. “So it couldn’t have been more perfect for me.”

Jackson Thanks Twilight Facebook Fans

From Zimbio.com:

While Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are off shooting their wedding scenes for the next Twilight installment, Breaking Dawn, co-star Jackson Rathbone took to Youtube to thank fans of the novel and film franchise for pushing 'The Twilight Saga' Facebook page past 25 million likes.

That's right; the Twilight Facebook fan page has crossed the 25 million mark, and since Rathbone's Youtube message of gratitude, the page has jumped another 21,000. To give you a little perspective on just how big that number is, there are more people who "like" the Twilight page than there are living in the state (not just city) of New York. If every Facebook fan sees Breaking Dawn on opening weekend at $10 a ticket, the film will set the box office record, topping the other fantasy franchise giant, Harry Potter, by almost $100 million. No wonder Rathbone took the time to give a shout out to the fans.

There's no telling how many more millions of people will join the party before Breaking Dawn hits theaters November 18th. For now, check out Jackson Rathbone (in full Jasper make-up and constuming) giving a much deserved thanks to Twilight's hardcore fanbase.

Kristen & Robert Camera Shy?

From Celebs.Gather.com:

Kristen Stewart is not usually smiling in her photos. Though she looks glam and totally smoldering when her picture is taken, she still doesn't think that her photo skills are up to par. Do you agree?

While in London for the Mulberry show, Kristen Stewart sat in the front row and chatted with Melissa Johanssen, a model, who is used to posing for the cameras. Johanssen said that she and Kristen spoke about how having their photo taken.

"[Kristen] said she didn't think she was very good at the whole 'photo thing', which I thought was sweet." She then added that she thought Kristen Stewart was "so lovely and beautiful".

It seems as though Kristen's camera shyness rubbed off on her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, who also doesn't smile during photos. In fact, he hates photos so much he tried to attack a photographer in Los Angeles yesterday!

Seems like the two of them were destined for each other, doesn't it?

Breaking Dawn Soundtrack Track List Reveled

From MTV.com:

We already knew about Bruno Mars' involvement in the upcoming "Breaking Dawn" soundtrack. But now — officially — we know who will be joining him.

Theophilus London, the Joy Formidable, Iron & Wine, Christina Perri and the Noisettes are just some of the acts confirmed for the "Dawn" soundtrack, which hits stores on November 8 (10 days before "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" bows in theaters). The full track list was unveiled Monday (September 26) afternoon on the official "Twilight" Twitter account, confirming speculations that sprung up over the weekend, when a listing of artists and songs began making the rounds on various fansites.

Work by "Twilight"-series composer Carter Burwell and actress Mia Maestro (she plays Carmen of the Denali Cover in the "Breaking Dawn" films) also shows up on the soundtrack, as do songs by Angus and Julia Young, the Features, the Belle Brigade and Cider Sky. All in all, there are 15 tracks on the album, and all — aside from a "Wedding Version" of Iron & Wine's "Flightless Bird, American Mouth" (as any good Twilighter will tell you, the original version of the song appeared on the first "Twilight" soundtrack) and an updated take on Noisettes' "Sister Rosetta" — are new.

The "Breaking Dawn" soundtrack follows in the footsteps of the ultra-successful 2008 "Twilight" 'track (which featured new songs from Paramore and Perry Farrell), '09's "New Moon" (which boasted a new track by Death Cab for Cutie and contributions from Thom Yorke and Lykke Li) and last year's "Eclipse," which packed in tunes from Muse, Florence and the Machine, Beck and Vampire Weekend.

The full track list for 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1' soundtrack:
» The Joy Formidable, "Endtapes"
» Angus & Julia Stone, "Love Will Take You"
» Bruno Mars, "It Will Rain"
» Sleeping at Last, "Turning Page"
» The Features, "From Now On"
» Christina Perri, "A Thousand Years"
» Theophilus London, "Neighbors"
» The Belle Brigade, "I Didn't Mean It"
» Noisettes, "Sister Rosetta (2011 Version)"
» Cider Sky, "Northern Lights"
» Iron & Wine, "Flightless Bird, American Mouth (Wedding Version)"
» Imperial Mammoth, "Requiem on Water"
» Aqualung & Lucy Schwartz, "Cold"
» Mia Maestro, "Llovera"
» Carter Burwell, "Love Death Rebirth"

Breaking Dawn is PG-13

From BoomTron.com:

Hey, hey, hey, it is finally official. Twilight: Breaking Dawn is not rated R. Okay, so the majority of us Twihards saw this coming. Summit and Stephenie Meyer, the author of the addictive paranormal romance books herself, didn’t want any part of her audience to be excluded from viewing the last cinematic chapter of Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward’s (Robert Pattinson) epic romance.

An R-rating would have made it more difficult for younger fans of the young adult series to catch viewings of the finished film, which is divided into two parts, and for which part one’s release is scheduled this coming November. Part two of Breaking Dawn follows in November of 2012.

The official MPAA rating is “PG-13,” just as it was for the previous three Twilight movies, according to ComingSoon.net. What does that rating suggest? You can expect disturbing images, like a young woman pregnant with a monster baby. You can expect violence, like a pack of were wolves gearing up for all out war. There will be sexuality and partial nudity because, let’s face it, none of us can wait to check out Bella and Edward’s Honeymoon. Keep it right here on Boomtron for all the latest Twilight Saga news.

The Truth Behind Nikki's Wedding Ring

From EOnline:

Just because an engaged couple is wearing gold rings that look like wedding bands, it doesn't mean they're already married.

That was the big speculation earlier today (last Friday) when photos hit the web showing Twilight beauty Nikki Reed and her American Idol fiancé Paul McDonald doing just that.

So what gives? We've got the truth behind those mystery "wedding" rings...

"Nikki and Paul got rings a few weeks ago while in Washington, D.C., because Paul wanted to wear one while he's on tour and away from Nikki, as a way to feel close to her while they're apart," Reed's rep just told me. "They aren't married yet."

The two reportedly also have each other's names tattooed on the inside of their right ring fingers.

The couple has yet to announce a wedding date or any details surrounding the big day. McDonald popped the question in June after dating Reed for about two months.

Taylor Talks Breaking Dawn: "It's the Best One!"

From EOnline.com:

We'll get to Breaking Dawn in a minute, but first, let's talk Taylor Lautner's ego.

At just 19, he's been compared to megastars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Wahlberg and Tom Cruise, he's got a smoking hot bod (Brad Pitt's even noticed!) and makes boatloads of money ($200,000 car, anyone?).

So has all the fame gone to the young Twilight star's head?

We're happy to report, no!

"He's so humble!" Lautner's Abduction costar Michael Nyqvist told us at last night's Hollywood premiere of the flick. "If I at that age had that kind of career, I'd go crazy. He's so cool about it. He's a very good guy."

Lautner proved it when he greeted hundreds of screaming fans and signed autographs along Hollywood Boulevard for more than half an hour before finally walking the red carpet.

Lautner, dressed in a dark blue Paul Smith suit and sportin' some scruff, dished to E! News that he's already prepping for the impending pandemonium for the first of the two Breaking Dawn movies.

"I'm so excited," he gushed. "I always do get excited but I can say I've never been more excited than for this one specifically."

Oh? "For me, it's by far my personal favorite," he says. "It's the best one."

As for reports that he's is set to team up with Dwayne Johnson (aka "The Rock") for the upcoming action flick Goliath, Lautner says nothing's official.

"There's a few things floating around right now that I'm very excited about," he told us. "It's a little too early to tell. I can definitely say I'll be challenging myself to something new."

Also at the premiere were Lautner's pal Selena Gomez and boyfriend Justin Bieber. However, only Ms. Gomez took some time to stop on the red carpet for pics.

Breaking Dawn Trailer - A Closer Look

From MTV.com:

Lots of romance, a touch of action and even a vampire/human birthing scene are all included in the latest "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" trailer. After dropping a trailer during June's MTV Movie Awards, the newest teaser fleshes out the moments that fans will salivate over most when the Bill Condon-directed film opens in November.

The Wedding
The trailer opens with the ethereal wedding, as Bella and her father come to terms with her decision to marry her vampire lover, Edward. Dad is reserved but offers his assurance that he'll never let Bella fall, serving as a sort of theme for the trailer: Everyone seems to be resigned to the Edward/Bella marriage.

Jacob's Goodbye
"You think I'd be used to telling you goodbye by now," Jacob says as he embraces his unrequited love. It seems, much like Bella's father, that while Jacob may not be completely onboard, all he wants is for Bella to be happy.

The Honeymoon
Sweeping and romantic, the honeymoon has everything Twilighters have been waiting for, including boat rides, skinny dipping and that already teased bed-breaking love scene. "Last night was the best night of my existence," Edward says — and fans will no doubt agree with that sentiment.

Labor Pains
As shocked as Bella is by her pregnancy, everyone's reactions are just as dramatic. With one warning from her new father-in-law, Carlisle Cullen — "Your heart will give out before you can deliver" — a chain of events is set into motion. Edward worries his bride won't survive, and the wolves warn, "We don't know what they bred. We have to protect the tribe before it's too late."

Special Delivery
With fans clamoring over any footage of the much-discussed labor scene, now they finally get a taste of the pain and turmoil Bella will face as she tries to bring her baby into the world. While it answers that question, it raised another: Just how will "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" end and where will "Part 2" pick up?

Steamy New Posters Have Arrived!

From VancouverSun.com:

It's true what they say: marriage changes you. Just look at the Twilight Saga's Edward and Bella in the picture above. We'd hardly recognize them. Sure, they're their usual sparkly selves on the just-released poster for the upcoming Breaking Dawn. But now, the duo is shining with the glimmer of true love (also known as the glimmer of a million PhotoShop filters).

Yes, Edward and Bella are clearly married in the shot. (We also suspect, given the composition, that they're also considering a career in romance novel modelling.) But apart from the very touchy-feely pose -- one that screams "I've waited a lifetime for a post-marital snack" -- there's another reason why we're treating the new Breaking Dawn poster as Edward and Bella's first official honeymoon photo. Just check out those ring fingers. And how could you not? With their hands thrust into the front of the shot, these two are showing off bling like they're Kardashians on a talk-show circuit.

Yahoo! Movies was the first to obtain the new poster. And they have another one, too -- though it's marginally less dreamy, even if you've tattooed a series of wolf paws that spell out "Team Jacob" on your butt. Taylor Lautner features in poster No. 2, wearing something especially unusual for his character: clothes. He's also kind of pouting -- probably because his lady-pal Bella is swooning for a Fabio-vampire on the other poster. That and his shirt is probably chafing him.

New Trailer - MTV's Top Five Favorite Moments

From MTV.com:

Be still, our "Twilight"-obsessed hearts. Finally, a new trailer arrived online Tuesday (September 13), and it is a doozy. Picking up where the first one (which debuted during the MTV Movie Awards in June) left off, the sparkling, action-packed, two-minute-and-30-second teaser offers fresh glimpses of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1."

The fact that we enjoyed every second of this new trailer is a given, therefore we are breaking out our top five favorite moments:

Charlie Walks Bella Down the Aisle
Bella's dad has never seemed totally onboard with his daughter dating Edward Cullen, let alone marrying him. However, in this sweet moment that opens the trailer, we see a wonderful bond between Bella and Charlie, as well as the natural chemistry between actors Kristen Stewart and Billy Burke, as they prepare to walk down the aisle together. "Don't let me fall, Dad," Bella says. "Never," he answers.

Jacob and Bella's Dance
After three books and four films of fighting for her heart, Jacob Black has to succumb to serious heartbreak and officially say goodbye to Bella. This sweet and heartfelt moment is captured beautifully during a slow dance at Bella's wedding reception. "This is how I'll remember you," Jacob says to Bella, hinting at the fact that she's set her heart on becoming a vampire. "Pink cheeks, heartbeat — you think I'd be used to telling you goodbye by now."

The Honeymoon Aftermath
It's safe to say that fans have been more excited about seeing the honeymoon scene than any other — save for a glimpse at Bella's wedding dress, perhaps. In the new trailer, we revisit Edward's hands crushing the headboard, followed by a very pleased and peaceful Bella lying in bed, surrounded by feathers from torn pillows and possibly pieces of the headboard. Intense, heated and squeal-worthy, for sure.

Wolves vs. Vamps
It wouldn't be a "Twilight" movie without some sort of epic battle involved, and in "Breaking Dawn - Part 1," there is a grand showdown between wolves and vampires. The wolf pack, which Jacob has deserted, wants to prevent Bella's unborn half-human, half-vampire from being born. "Get ready, they're coming for Bella," Jacob says, anxiously. "They're not going to touch her," answers Edward. We then see a shot of a standoff, wolves surrounding the vampires, at which point Jacob addresses them, "If you kill her, you kill me," followed by quick cuts of Alice and Jasper Cullen fighting the wolves.

Edward Reacts to Bella In Labor
Throughout the final minute of the trailer, most of the emphasis is put on the tension surrounding Bella's pregnancy. Carlisle warns Bella: "The fetus isn't compatible with your body. It's too strong and fast growing. Your heart will give out before you can do anything" — which Bella doesn't want to hear, much like Edward's emotional outbursts that she has decided to give up her life for her unborn child, without considering his feelings. The last shot of the trailer is Edward's face, full of anguish and anxiety, with Bella screaming in pain in the background.

Robert: Birth Scene Could Not be Toned Down

From MTV.co.uk.com: Rob says fans will be shocked by how gory the birth scene really is...

Robert Pattinson has revealed that there was "no way" film makers could tone down the gory birth scene in the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1.

The 25-year old star, who previously claimed that his girlfriend Kristen Stewart "looked like an alien" when playing Bella Swan during the shocking scene, has confessed that fans will be surprised how graphic the movie is.

Speaking to Premiere magazine about the scene, where Bella's baby eats her from inside, R-Pattz explained: "It's hilarious. No movie this size dates taking those kind of risks."

He continued: "But since the craziest scenes are a big part of the story going forward, it was impossible to not have them included in the film... There was no way we would tone it down."

Pattinson went on to admit that he believes that David Cronenberg, the director for his latest flick, Cosmopolis, will be stunned by his portrayal of vampire Edward Cullen in Breaking Dawn.

The hunky actor claimed: "I think he's going to enjoy certain scenes, like the one where I open her [Kristen] up by biting through her placenta."

"It was without a doubt the funniest thing I ever had to do. I’d raise my head up and I was covered with cottage cheese or whatever substance they put in there."

Nice! Rob added that when it came to shooting the scene, they wanted to make it as realistic as possible.

He told the mag: "Before filming the scene, Stephenie Meyer, a midwife, Kristen and I sat down to talk to a doctor to decide where I was supposed to bite if this situation would ever occur in real life."

Pattinson added: "The doctor looked at us a bit puzzled and said: ‘I don’t think you could ever do this in real life.'"

Bella's Wedding Ring

From TheStir.CafeMom.com:

So far, the casting directors for the Twilight series have done pretty dang well for themselves: Robert Pattinson as Edward? Score! Kristen Stewart as Bella? Nice! Taylor Lautner as Jacob? But of course!

It remains to be seen, however, if the lucky casting streak will continue with Breaking Dawn, Part 1. Sure, most of the major roles are already filled, but there are still two incredibly important "characters" yet to make an appearance. I'm talking, of course, about vamp-human baby Renesmee, AND ... drum roll, please ... Bella's wedding ring!!

No sneak peeks (yet) at Renesmee (I don't even know HOW they're going to do that, I really don't), but Summit Entertainment did release the first close-up wedding ring pic!

Hmmm. You want to know what I think?

I think this is a perfectly lovely ring ... that doesn't quite live up to the ethereal, luminous, museum-quality work of art I'd been imagining all this time. Granted, I don't know if the ring I've been fantasizing about could actually be crafted by human hands -- but that's because I don't know if the ring described in the book could be manufactured in the real world either.

For example: "The gold made a glittering web around the diamonds." Oooh. Try to picture RPattz sliding that on to KStew's finger. (Are you trying to picture it?) I can barely even make out the details, personally -- all I can see is a flash of light and little trails of gold dust, like what's left behind when you wave a Fourth of July sparkler around.

Such a ring is probably beyond the capacity of even the most talented human jewelry designer, so I will try to be understanding, to contain my disappointment.

Whatever will I gaze upon to console myself?

Well, I suppose if I have to stare at Robert Pattinson's face for the whole entire movie ... I can deal with that.

TOO FUNNY!! ~ 71 Things to do While Waiting for Breaking Dawn

From Blogs.VillageVoice.com:

Unless you are a fan of the Twilight saga (and if you're not, what is WRONG with you?), you may not be aware that Breaking Dawn, the finale of the series, in which Bella and Edward actually make a vampire-human baby, will be out in theaters on November 18. This is only part one of the finale, because it was so exciting and sexy that they had to split it in two, much like the vampire and human portions of Baby Cullen-Swan -- otherwise we all would simply expire from the thrill of watching it. Also, we would have to get up at least once to pee because it would be a very long movie, and then we would miss something important, and we hate that. In any case, by serving two separate portions of the film, one now and one later, there is delayed gratification. This is good for everyone, not least, the movie makers, and also is sort of fitting for an entire series about waiting until you are married to have sex with a vampire. (Subtext!)

By our speedy Google calendar calculation, there are now 71 days until Breaking Dawn's official release date. If you know people who know people, you might be able to catch a glimpse sooner, but, for the general public, that's how long you're going to have to wait. It seems interminable, yes, but we are here to help! Here are 71 things to do, one per day, or do them all each and every day, if you see fit, to pass the time until Kristen Stewart and that British bloke with the mop of hair and funny teeth and sparkly skin are emoting on the big screen right in front of you. (OMG.)

Here we go.....

71. Pretend to re-read Twilight, but really just lie with it under your pillow and occasionally touch its weathered pages with your cold, cold fingertips.

70. Do the same with Eclipse.

69. Do not do the same with New Moon. Use it to prop your front door open so your cat, Mr. Fluffers, can get in and out at night without you having to wake up. This will change your life! Also, under cover of moonlight, when you squint your eyes, you can pretend that Mr. Fluffers is Edward Cullen. They have a similar facial structure.

68. Put Twilight, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn under your pillow and try to sleep. You will not be able to. Imagine if your neck were as long as all three books together. What a neck that would be for a vampire to latch onto! Blow your own mind; make an appointment with a chiropractor.

67. Stare at yourself in the mirror. Will you ever have your own vampire love affair? Do not answer. This is a rhetorical question.

66. Fashion a realistic set of vampire teeth out of wine corks and some barbed wire, and practice wearing them around the house, and eventually to a red-carpet event, should you be invited to one.

65. Fashion a realistic Edward Cullen doll, with whom you will attend the movie's premiere midnight show.

64. Determine whether you will have to buy the Edward Cullen doll a ticket to see the movie, or if you can sneak him in in your backpack.

63. Determine that the Edward Cullen doll deserves his own ticket. No expense is too great! Also, buy him some shoes. No one should have to go to a movie barefoot.

62. Refer to Yahoo Answers for what sort of shoes Edward Cullen wears.

61. Fashion a realistic Jacob doll. Stage mock fights between it and the Edward Cullen doll. Buy several shirts for the Jacob doll, because they are always ripping off and going missing when he becomes a werewolf. That must be frustrating.

60. Feel terrible when the fights become realistic, and the Jacob doll goes too far in a way that we cannot bring ourselves to discuss. Feel just like Bella must have. Also, slightly aroused.

59. Reattach the head of the Edward Cullen doll. Kiss its cold vampire lips and remember.

58. Throw the Jacob doll out the window. What an a-hole.

57. Eat some pizza. You are hungry!

56. Take out the vampire teeth.

55. Drink all the wine in the uncorked bottles you've used for fashioning the vampire teeth. Make sure it is red wine, for the most vampiric effect.

54. Put the teeth back in, lie on the floor, and clutch your Edward Cullen doll to your chest. Whisper "I feel very safe with you," and "Your eyes are a brilliant shade of butterscotch today, darling." (You may lisp a bit. Practice makes perfect!)

53. Consider how the title of Breaking Dawn includes all of the letters for "Edward." Get chills.

52. Watch some Toddlers & Tiaras, or maybe a few episodes of House Hunters, just to take your mind off things for a minute.

51. Go out and collect the Jacob doll. He is only slightly worse for wear. Tell him he's your best friend, but Edward is your TRUE LOVE. There is no other way. Sigh deeply and expressively.

50. Go to work. When your boss asks where you've been, shout "You just don't understand anything!" and storm out. Sneak back in and collect your Edward Cullen doll from your cubicle once you get halfway home and realize you forgot him.

49. Stop at the grocery store for some string cheese. It's great for snacks, and high in protein!

48. Stare moodily out the window and wonder why you didn't have the luck to be sent to live with your father in Forks, Washington, when your mother gallivanted around the Southwest with her new husband. This is like your Sliding Doors moment, except, really, not, considering your parents are still together and live in Michigan

47. Check out the official website of Stephenie Meyer.

46. Write and ask her why she hasn't updated the site since April 12, 2011. And who is this Seth person?

45. Assume she's probably been very busy.

44. Understand.

43. Rip up your letter and eat it.

42. Wonder if the ink was toxic. Throw the pen in the garbage, where it bursts, leaking everywhere in a puddle reminiscent of Edward's favorite snack.

41. Hug your Edward Cullen doll, and allow him to whisper reassuring things into your ear.

40. Call poison control.

39. Use Eclipse and New Moon as handweights as you pace around the room on hold. A little cardio, a little strength training.

38. Tell your story to poison control as you surf the 'Net for Twilight merch.

37. Listen as poison control tells you how they did the exact same thing while waiting for the release of New Moon, and they survived. Wonder if they are lying in a plot to steal Edward away from you.

36. Head to the hospital.

35. Get kicked out of the hospital for ogling vials of blood and trying to get the nurses to take a picture with you and your Edward Cullen doll.

34. Go home. Have some string cheese.

33. Call your mom. She wants to know if you're wearing your "Team Edward" T-shirt. (You are.)

32. Go out for a long, aimless walk in the deep, dark woods, where some vampires might smell you and want to hang out, or at the very least, something bad might happen, encouraging Edward to come and rescue you to prove that he really does love you even though you are a human and he is a vampire and your love is doomed, doomed, doomed. But maybe it could work!

31. Feel disappointed when Edward does not come and rescue you.

30. Return home. Hug your Edward Cullen doll. You just can't be mad at this guy!

29. Try on your prom dress. Could it also be your wedding dress?

28. Dye your hair the color of Edward Cullen's eyes after a meal.

27. Experiment with blue eyeshadow.

26. Decide against blue eyeshadow.

25. Join the "25 Days Til Breaking Dawn Is Out" Facebook Group. Make a lot of really close friends. Get super-excited!

24. Feel stupid the next day.

23. Start to plan your outfit for the midnight showing of the movie. Will it be Converse, skinny jeans, and a forest green T-shirt, or Converse, skinny jeans, and a black T-shirt?

22. Magic 8-Ball how much fun you will have. Will you have fun? Signs point to yes.

21. Think about things. Like...How does Edward Cullen feel about popcorn? How does he feel about girls who like popcorn? What would your vampire name be? What about your vampire-human baby? Is "Renesmee" the most beautiful baby name in the whole, entire universe? How high could you jump if you were a vampire? What would you look like as a vampire? Can Edward Cullen hear you thinking all this right now?

20. Put in your vampire teeth.

19. Watch each of the three movies in the Twilight saga, but backwards, in order to glean things you may not have noticed in your previous 57 and a half viewings.

18. Start calling all your local movie theaters daily to see if you can buy tickets yet.

17. Get banned from at least one theater for being "annoying" and "psychotic." Vow revenge.

16. Research werewolves on the Internet.

15. Work on your scrapbook.

14. Return to Yahoo Answers with your most pressing questions that you have just thought of. Like, "What do you think of the name Bella Swan for a baby boy?"

13. How comfortable are your vampire teeth right about now? So natural!

12. Sew sequins to your skin so you will be sparkly in the daylight, like Edward.

11. Dust yourself in flour so you will be pale and vampirey, like Edward.

10. Think about bed bugs. Are they the vampires of the insect race? Is there an insect race? Is that racist?

9. OMG you can probably buy tickets now! Everything is finally happening!!!!

8. When you do, clutch them in your cold, cold fingers like they are million-dollar winning-lottery tickets, except better. They are tickets to your past, present, and future!

7. Sleep with them under your pillow.

6. Drool, just a bit.

5. Let every waking minute be in preparation for watching the 135 minutes of this movie which will change your life if only because after you watch it you can do something other than think about how you can't wait to see it.

4. Fall asleep, wake up in a torrid sweat, reach under your pillow to reassure yourself that your tickets are still there, hug your Edward Cullen doll. Repeat.

3. Shower, dressing carefully in the movie-watching outfit that you selected months ago, and Edward in his.

2. Add a belt! Belts are in for fall! Maybe a beret? No.

1. Go to the movie theater. Sit. Shush some stupid talking lady. Wonder how many days there are until part two comes out. GET CHILLS. Is it Edward, or is it the air conditioning? You may never know. Have a bite of the string cheese you have stashed away in your backpack. Delicious, isn't it? It is.

Robert's Guy's Night Out

From Celebs.Gather.com:

Robert Pattinson was recently spotted without Kristen Stewart at a Los Angeles hotspot called SoHo House. There was talk that RPattz's enjoyed a truly wild night while KStew worked in England; but now, new information has come out that the gorgeous actor was actually just there with male friends so she need not worry.

A source at the club stated, "Rob came in with friends and there were no girls with them. He was in his own area with his buddies and they didn't really talk to anyone else the whole time. They had beers, some food and ice cream. Rob was dressed very low key and had a hat on."
Perhaps partying with a couple of ordinary guys kept the female groupies from approaching him because another source stated, "I don't think they (Pattinson's friends) were famous — and if they were, they weren't recognizable. They all seemed to be in a really good mood."

It's good to know that after all this time, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been able to maintain a healthy and romantic relationship even when they are apart. Seriously, being able to spend time alone is just as important as spending time together.

Taylor Praises Kristen

From Celebs.Gather.com:

Kristen Stewart has just received some pretty high public praise from one of her Breaking Dawn co-stars. But it didn't come from her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. It's her good friend, Taylor Lautner, who's heaping on the compliments about her buzzed-about role in the upcoming movie, Snow White and the Huntsman, which she's currently filming in London.

While Pattinson has been hitting the Los Angeles scene (think hot spots like Soho House) without Stewart by his side, Lautner has been out and about promoting his new action flick, Abduction, and obviously keeping it no secret his support for K-Stew.

He chatted with E! News during Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, where the heart-throb gushed about Kristen Stewart's Snow White take. "Kristen's going to be cool and edgy and dark, and I think that's really exciting," he commented. Cool, edgy and dark? Those are definitely great adjectives to describe the sometimes brooding starlet whose Snow White character will no doubt be a warrior princess, rather than a helpless damsel in distress.

Of course, who could forget that Kristen Stewart has a bit of competition in fellow actress Lily Collins, who's also reprising the fairytale role of Snow White in a separate "Brothers Grimm" movie.

Ironically, Collins is also Taylor Lautner's co-star in Abduction, in which they reportedly share some steamy scenes together. But Lautner assured E! that he's rooting for both Kristen Stewart and Lily Collins, which is apparently totally kosher because the films and the actresses are "so different."

Nice save! Lautner knows how to make sure his lady friends stay happy ever after. And, don't forget, he's even working that charm with former girlfriend, country sweetheart Taylor Swift. It looks like the pair might even be rekindling their romance... maybe!

Very Nice - of course, it would be much better without Condon :-)

New Picture: Bella Getting Wedding-Ready

From SugarScape.com:

We're so excited about Bella Swan's wedding to Edward Cullen in Breaking Dawn we let out a really embarrassing squeal every time a new picture lands in front of us, and politely told to leave the office to "calm down."

WELL CALM SHMALM. Here's another picture of Bella getting ready to walk up the aisle, with her emotional looking parents watching on in the background, Charlie seems to be keeping to character and trying to distract himself with something so his tears don't come out.

We also get a proper look at Bella's hair in what looks like its finished form - so far we've only seen it from the back, and when it was mostly down as Rosalie started the plaiting.

Do you like it?
