From Hollywoodcrush.MTV.com:
It came a few days later than we anticipated, but the full "New Moon" soundtrack list has finally been revealed! Let's get to the bloody goodness straight away, with the complete rundown courtesy of StephenieMeyer.com:
Death Cab for Cutie—"Meet Me On The Equinox"
Band of Skulls—"Friends"
Thom Yorke—"Hearing Damage"
Lykke Li—"Possibility"
The Killers—"A White Demon Love Song"
Anya Marina—"Satellite Heart"
Muse—"I Belong To You ('New Moon' Remix)"
Bon Iver & St. Vincent—"Roslyn"
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club—"Done All Wrong"
Hurricane Bells—"Monsters"
Sea Wolf—"The Violet Hour"
OK Go—"Shooting the Moon"
Grizzly Bear—"Slow Life"
Editors—"No Sound But the Wind"
Alexandre Desplat—"New Moon (The Meadow)"
The 15-track album, comprised solely of "original and exclusive" songs, appears slightly longer than its "Twilight" predecessor and includes one repeat performer—Muse—whose "Supermassive Black Hole" opened the first soundtrack and was the backdrop to the famous baseball scene.
As expected, Band of Skulls, Thom Yorke and Bon Iver will also be contributing to the Saga CD, though there are a few notable exclusions from the list. "New Moon" cast favorite Kings of Leon (you may recall it was at one of the indie bands' concerts that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were caught sharing a moment), were once rumored contenders for the soundtrack, while Stephenie Meyer favorite Blue October, whose heartfelt songs (especially "Hate Me") seem to have been written by Edward Cullen himself, will also (sadly) not appear on the LP.
The soundtrack, which drops October 20, is available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
