"Alice" Pic from Eclipse
Today’s Twilight Saga update comes in the form of a somewhat unusual photograph of Ashley Greene as her character Alice Cullen. David Slade, the British director of Twilight Saga: Eclipse, is the author of the photo, which he took during the pre-production process. Slade shared the image with fans via his TwitPic page. The black and white portrait is stunning. Dare I draw comparisons between Greene and her idol Audrey Hepburn?
Greene’s popularity has got her slowly branching out from Twilight into other projects. Her movie Warrior is in post-production and should come out this year. In it she shares the screen with her Twilight co-start Kellan Lutz. We also recently brought the news that Greene will join the cast of Scream 4.

Elizabeth Reaser Talks About the "Tent Scene"!!!
MTV has a new interview with Elizabeth Reaser, who talks a little bit about the tense tent scene in Eclipse!
Elizabeth Reaser might play Edward’s adopted vampire mom, Esme Cullen, in “Twilight,” but that doesn’t mean she can’t find the “Eclipse” tent scene to be one really sexy moment. If Twi-Hards thought it was hot in the book, Reaser said, then they really need to see the flick, out June 30.
“The tent scene, I remember that being one of the hottest scenes in the books, so I’m excited to see that,” Reaser said when she stopped by the MTV News offices Tuesday (May 18). “I’m Team Edward, so I can’t relate to [Bella] being torn [between Edward and Jacob], but I mean, come on, vampires are cool! Wolves are super hairy and they smell disgusting, like dogs.”
Reaser said the tent scene ups the sexual ante in the “Twilight Saga.” “The tent scene is sort of a three-way — I mean, it’s a chaste three-way, but it is, nonetheless, a three-way,” she said. “So I do think that ups the sexiness factor in this movie, but I don’t know. The first movie, I thought, was intensely sexy, because they couldn’t touch, and to watch them fall in love was so sexy. And I love that, in the books, they all have great chemistry. So it’s fun to watch.”

Ashley & Kellan Signed on for Breaking Dawn
Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz have signed deals to remain a part of the “Twilight” franchise for the final two movies. The two co-stars signed new deals to reprise their roles as Alice Cullen and Emmett Cullen for Twilight Breaking Dawn.
Greene and Lutz had been at odds with Summit Entertainment over their deals for the fourth and fifth films in the series. It is not clear which side caved in the process, though both sides will likely claim victory. Regardless, the two will return for the conclusion of the popular vampire/love story franchise.

Eclipse Clips Have Arrived!
From HollywoodCrush.MTV.com:
Alright Twilighters, we've seen these clips premiere on TV, but we haven't had yet them (in non-bootleg form that is!) to play over and over again in the comfort of our own homes and Edward-postered bedrooms.
The first, which we first saw on "Oprah" last week, shows Edward (Robert Pattinson) fired up at Jacob (Taylor Lautner) in the moments after Jacob kisses Bella (Kristen Stewart) for the first time and she punches him in response. Luckily for the frantic teen, her dad (Billy Burke) interrupts just in time.
After the jump, check out a clip starring Nikki Reed!
The second new clip, which premiered on "Ellen" this past Tuesday, takes us to an significant moment between Rosalie and Bella — when the ice queen finally lets down her guard down. "I don't hate you…. Bella, I envy you," Rosalie says. "You have a choice, I didn't. None of us did, but you do, and you're choosing wrong."
Which of these two clips makes you more excited to see "Eclipse"? Or are they equal on your anticipation meter?

'Eclipse' TV Spot
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart bring 'Eclipse' to television. Twilight fans rejoice as the countdown for 'Eclipse' has officially begun. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are seen in the below tv spot for The Twilight Saga, Eclipse movie.
This is what the fans have been waiting for. Finally a 30 second escape from ordinary TV programming. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are featured in the very first TV spot for Eclipse which opens on June 30th.
Twilight fans are in a frenzy after seeing the commercial for Eclipse on television. As they days grow fewer and fewer until June 30th, the fans grow more restless. They're tweeting and talking, sharing their thoughts on any news.
The TV spot shows a bit of new footage and of course showcases the love triangle between Edward, Bella, and Jacob (which is my favorite part!) The spot also shows the Cullens ready to fight the army of newborn vamps and the evil Victoria now being played by Bryce Dallas Howard ready to attack. Enjoy!

Jimmy Kimmel Primetime 'Eclipse' Special - June 23rd
Rob and Kristen will be on hand to appear in a Jimmy Kimmel primetime “Eclipse” special, airing at 10pm, Wednesday, June 23.
ABC is giving Jimmy Kimmel a full primetime special dedicated to the June 30 release of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”
Titled “Jimmy Kimmel Live: Twilight Saga: Total Eclipse of the Heart,” the special will air from 10:01-11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23.
ABC boasts that this will be the only joint primetime appearance by “Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. And if that’s not enough, co-stars Dakota Fanning, Bryce Howard and Xavier Samuel will be on-hand, plus “special guests.”
Kimmel will sell his soul to the devil — or, we guess, to the werewolves and vampires — in exchange for exclusive “Twilight” content and more.

Kellan & Ashley Still to Sign on the Dotted Line.....
According to a report in the industry trade paper, The Hollywood Reporter (THR), Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene have not yet signed on for Breaking Dawn. THR goes on to state that other actors with similar sized roles such as Billy Burke and Peter Facinelli have already signed on.
“The studio is close to finalizing agreements with leads Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, all of whom will get big raises to return for a fifth installment of the vampire romance saga…But Summit is having a harder time locking in some of the franchise’s secondary characters. Deals for Peter Facinelli (who plays Carlisle Cullen) and Billy Burke (Bella’s father, Charlie Swan) are done, but we’re told the actors who play the Cullen kids (especially Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene) are trying to sink their teeth into bigger paydays that, at least at this point, the studio behind the billion-dollar franchise is unwilling to provide. “We may have a situation where one of them is thrown out on the street to make a point,” says a source close to the dealmaking.”
The Hollywood Reporter is generally accepted as a credible industry source, second only to Variety. So this is interesting information to take in. Check out the whole article, there’s a lot to absorb in there. What do you think?

Twilight - Top U.S. Baby Names of 2009
From Examiner.com:
It appears that Gen X born author Stephenie Meyer of “Twilight” fame, is a trendsetter in more ways than one. Meyer's Twilight series of books has sold millions of copies and spawned movies for each of the books. Now we find out that new mother’s are naming their babies after Meyer's Twilight characters.
In 2009, the fastest rising baby name was “Cullen”. The Cullen family in the Twilight series includes Edward (Robert Pattinson) and a host of other hot young vampires. If that wasn’t enough of a trend, the 2009 baby names were are also topped by Twilight character names.
The Social Security Administration reports that the two most popular baby names in the United States in 2009, were Jacob and Isabella. Twilight fans will recognize the name Jacob from the teenage Twilight werewolf, Jacob Black. Isabella is of course the full first name of the character Bella Swan, also known as Edward Cullen’s love interest.
When Stephenie Meyer wrote her first Twilight series book, she wrote it based on a dream she had. Literally, a dream she had while sleeping. Could she possibly have known then how incredibly popular her book and then books and movies would become? Probably not. There is no way Meyer could have anticipated that the names she chose for her Twilight characters would turn out to be the most popular baby names either.
Hopefully the new Jacob’s and Isabella’s of America will grow up liking their names. Maybe they will even grow up to be fans of Stephenie Meyer and the Twilight series. If not, they’ll have to take it up with their parents.

Team Twilight Takes Over Oprah....And Happy Birthday Rob!!!
First thing's first, Twi-hards: it's Robert Pattinson's birthday! And while the federal government has, for some reason, failed to declare it a national holiday, Oprah Winfrey has picked up the slack, kicking off this day of tween jubilation by devoting an entire hour to R.Pattz, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning.
And, you know, this little thing called The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Perhaps you've heard of it?
But movie news is taking a massive backseat to the personal beans that were spilled up on Oprah's stage today. You've wanted it, we've wanted it. Their publicists didn't want it, but, really, who cares about them?
Without further ado, straight from the mouths of the babes themselves, is official word on the state of Robsten:
Obviously, we need to start by giving massive props to Oprah, who broached the sensitive topic with all the grace of a vampire devouring its prey, asking the duo, "You know there's all these rumors about the two of you dating, is it true?"
The ever-shy K.Stew was graciously given a free pass from answering the question, but Pattinson wasted no time in jumping in to answer the query. Ready, fans? Nevermind, silly question:
"Kristen's pregnant," Rob said. OK, people, breathe...
"He likes to, he really loves to shock people. He thinks it's funny," Kristen jumped in, before getting a bit more into the spirit of things.
"No, no, no, he's having the baby…imagine the baby coming out of this thing. It's not going to happen."
Neither is a definitive answer about their relationship, but really, is anyone doubting that anymore?
Meanwhile, much was made of Kristen's shyness during the interview, with Mama Oprah even giving Stewart a hug so as to make her feel more comfortable. And while we already know that Kristen isn't a fan of being labeled "awkward," this morning she explained where her hesitance comes from.
."I get so nervous," she said, addressing the Twilight fans. "This means a lot to you guys and it's the same feel for me. I understand that your words have weight and I mince them when I know that everybody's waiting for them, you know what I mean?"
"Most people's favorite book is not a part of their lives," she said, adding that she knows full well Twilight is the exception to the rule.
"I feel like I've brought more of myself to Bella than any other character. I can also completely relate to the fact that she's totally awkward, but that she owns it and she's not going to say anything she doesn't mean."
Like that her boyfriend is pregnant? Kidding. But speaking of…
While Twi-hards didn't need any magazines to tell that Rob is both beauty and important, last month they did just that, with him making the cut for both People's Most Beautiful issue and Time's Most Influential People in the World list.
So which accolade means the most to him?
."Oh, definitely beautiful," he joked. "It's crazy. It just seems completely ridiculous. Three years ago I wouldn't be able to influence my dog to walk.
"I was above Obama…I have to agree with that. I totally agree," he laughed. "It's completely insane."
Of course, it wasn't all about Robert and Kristen (who also disclosed that she was "obsessed" and has "a very Edward and Bella relationship with my cat…I'm very codependent"). It was also about Dakota, Taylor and Taylor's well-documented love of beef patties.
While he already disclosed that he's looking for a loyal and honest girl, he's apparently also looking for one with lots of room on her TiVo.
"I'm bored on Saturdays," he said, revealing that he doesn't go out but prefers instead to stay in and watch American Idol and Celebrity Apprentice. And that squeaky clean image of his? That's one reputation that he's most definitely earned. Uh, unless you listen to Rob.
Lautner admitted that reports of him never having tried cigarettes or so much as touched alcohol were 100 percent true.
"It's just the way I was raised by my parents and my family," he said. Good thing, since he's all of 17.
Oh, and while he's adding to his list of desirable qualities in a woman, go ahead and add sense of humor.
"I don't find myself very funny," he said, to which Oprah told him, "You'd know if you were funny or not."
"Then I guess I'm not very funny. So she'd better be funny."
As for Dakota, she chatted about how close she's gotten to Stewart, thanks to their frequent costarring roles.
"I've gotten to know her very well, especially doing The Runaways. She become one of my best friends."
K.Stew agreed, saying, "I'm 20, Dakota's 16, and I've always had friends that are older than me…and I call her for advice."
Aww!
But the Fanning family isn't completely immune from getting star-struck at some of her fellow castmates. Dakota said that her 12-year-old sister is such a fan of R.Pattz that she named a robot she was making for a school project, "Rob-ot Pattinson."
And wouldn't you know it, even that deep shade of red that took over his face suited Rob. Sometimes there's just not enough hours (to swoon) in the day.

Eclipse Pre-Sale Tickets This Friday, 5/14!
From Twilight Lexicon:
According to Summit, “This Friday, May 14, you can pick up your tickets to THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE on Fandango and MovieTickets.com! Official run time is 2 hours and 4 minutes.”
If you remember, when New Moon tickets went up for pre-sale they set a new record on Fandango and other online ticket brokers:
“According to Fandango, who notes that their numbers are increasing every second, several thousand New Moon showtimes have sold out, making it the most the company has ever sold prior to a film’s release date. (And, yes, that means the film has even topped The Dark Knight, and movies from both the Harry Potter and Star Wars franchises.) AMC and MovieTickets.com report the same information. Both the movie chain and the online ticket buying service have said the film has broken records set by Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. (New Moon even nabbed the No. 1 spot on MovieTickets.com’s list of top 10 advance ticket sellers of all time, breaking a nearly five-year-old record set by Star Wars: Episode III—Revenge of the Sith. The service is also reporting over 2,150 sellouts for the film, with over 200 in Los Angeles and New York.)” Source EW
So do you think that Eclipse will beat New Moon’s record?

Twilight on Oprah Tomorrow, 5/13!!!! Be Sure and Set your DVRs!!!
From Zap2It.com:
Is the "Twilight/Oprah" day here yet?
Check out the preview of the Thursday, May 13 episode of "Oprah" in which Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning stop by to promote their new film "Eclipse" and give some fans the thrill of a lifetime.
We already know a few things that will be discussed, like R-Patz's surprise visit to the Twihard family and his joking that Kristen is pregnant.
But we were also pleased to learn that Taylor gets to surprise his own set of fans, which are naturally a bunch of screaming girls. Hmm, we wonder if there was extra security necessary for him to keep his shirt on?
The part we found the most interesting about the preview was that last line: "Why grown women say this has revved up their love life."
Whoa, hold on there. We haven't heard that. We're not entirely surprised, but we definitely wonder what exactly that involves.
Is it as simple as watching/reading the "Twilight" series together and getting caught up in the romance? Is there role-playing involved? Or perhaps the addition of a Robert Pattinson body pillow? We think Oprah could do an entire episode about this and have Dr. Laura Berman weigh in.

$12 Robert and Kristen - 'Twilight" Autographed PIC Reprint
From Gather.com:
While surfing to satisfy my usual Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart ‘Twilight’curiousity, I came across some pretty awesome things on Amazon.
Here's a ‘Twilight’ROBERT PATTINSON KRISTEN STEWART 8x10 Autographed Photo Reprint for only $12!!! So for a small fee you too can own this beautiful reprint. Isn't that just awesome?
It looks like a photo of Bella and Edward on a motorcycle... I love how black Stewart's hair is and that intensity in Pattinson's face is amazing.
It's really beautiful and well worth the cost. It must have been taken early on in the ‘Twilight’ shoot. Before the whole nicknames things began: K.Stew and R.Patz and before they skyrocketed into super-stardom. There were some more expensive original pictures of the ‘Twilight’ stars online and I’ll post those later but for a tween who loves Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart or anything ‘Twilight’, this is the most reasonably priced thing I could find on Amazon.

Robert "is a bit of a wierdo" says Chris Weitz
From Examiner.com:
Robert Pattinson 'is a bit of a weirdo,' says 'New Moon' director, Chris Weitz - On page 82 of TIME Magazine's May 10, 2010 issue, The Twilight Saga: New Moon director Chris Weitz calls the star of his movie, "a weirdo." Robert Pattinson, about whom the director is writing, is also one of TIME Magazine's "100 Most Influential People in the World."
Mr. Weitz quickly qualifies his characterization of his bookish, independent actor - saying he is weird "in the best sense."
The director describes him as a person who would rather sit in the corner of a pub and talk with friends about music and ideas than walk a red carpet or give interviews. He also describes him as "someone who seems to answer Freud's rhetorical question, What do women want?"
With the release of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse taking place next month, his new film Bel-Ami wrapping, and another new project, Water for Elephants beginning, it's clear, weird or not, that the public will be seeing more of Mr. Pattinson in books adapted for the screen in the near future.
Mr. Weitz may have had a little fun with the actor in the TIME article, but he also said, "we haven't seen a tenth of what he can do onscreen."
Coming from a director, that sounds pretty promising.

LA Times Cullen Interviews
From LATimesBlogs.latimes.com:
The family that slays together, stays together. At least that's the case for the Cullen brood.
In "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," which hits theaters June 30, Seattle is ravaged by a series of killings caused by an army of newborn vampires controlled by revenge-seeking bloodsucker Victoria. To combat the threat against Bella (Kristen Stewart) in this third installment of the franchise, the Cullens must band together and join forces with their sworn enemies, the wolf pack.
"The whole family is in a vulnerable position because of the love we have for Bella," said Elizabeth Reaser, who plays matriarch Esme Cullen. "If she's not OK, we're not OK."
In the past, we've seen the clan hit baseballs so hard that they can play only in a thunderstorm, to block out the sound. And we've watched the buttoned-up human imposters welcome Bella into their home as the human girlfriend of one of their own —the handsome Edward.
"This time around, you get to see their true vampire-ness," said Peter Facinelli, who plays head vampire Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the series based on the bestselling books by Stephenie Meyer.
The film is being helmed by David Slade, the edgy filmmaker behind “Hard Candy” and “30 Days of Night.” And if the trailer is any indication, he’s definitely given the franchise a darker sensibility.
“The guys are going to bring their girlfriends to this one, mark my words,” said Kellan Lutz, who plays Emmett Cullen. “There’s a lot of fighting, a lot of cool stunts. It’s a little darker. The stuff I’ve seen so far is amazing. Amazing. The music is great. Everything is just really captivating. I’m excited to see it, and I’m excited for the fans to see it. The stunts are so cool. It was a bit weird, like for the main battle scene where the newborns come in. I mean, we’re looking at these cardboard cutouts as we’re acting, as we’re supposed to be head-butting creatures. So to see it live on the screen is so cool. And running on the treadmills to do the chase scene was awesome. We were being pulled by a truck going really fast to make it seem like we were running at vampiric speed. To see it on screen, it looks epic.”
What else can we expect from the pale-faced Cullen family (which includes the Hale siblings) this go-round? Here's what the actors say audiences can expect from the story and their characters:
Facinelli: "For me, as Carlisle, it's an exciting portion of the series. Carlisle is very compassionate and he has a lot of killing to do in this movie. I joke, after he kills the bad guys, he says he's sorry in his head. And, you know, he's calm and level-headed. He's the rock of the family. He usually has a lot of information to draw from because Alice can see into the future and Edward can read minds. In this third movie, he's not getting that information. Neither one of his sources are working, so he's kind of flying blind."
Robert Pattinson (as Edward Cullen): Snagging a phone interview with the brooding dreamboat — who was overseas shooting his latest film, "Bel Ami" — proved difficult. So what can we expect from the lovesick Edward? He promises to love Bella "every moment of forever," as the trailer reveals. He's still hesitant about her becoming a vampire. He's determined to protect her from Victoria. And he's vying with Jacob for her affections. Oh, the life of an antique teenage vampire.
Reaser: "Esme is still a vampire. She still wants to kill people all day long. It was interesting to get in touch with the vampire side of her in ways that haven't really been explored. Her family is in danger and that brings out the mama bear in her.
Ashley Greene (as Alice Cullen): "Yeah, she's delicate and prissy at times, but Alice gets a little edgier with each installment. And with these vampires messing with her family and the people she loves, you're going to see a bit of her toughness. It's a reminder to the audience that even though we restrain ourselves at times, we're still vampires and we're dangerous. You're going to see the dark, dangerous side of Alice."
Kellan Lutz (as Emmett Cullen): "You're going to see a smile on Emmett's face from start to finish. He just loves to fight. And there's a lot of fighting. He sort of plays bigger in this one than the others."
Nikki Reed (as Rosalie Hale): "You see a reason for her attitude. I think fans will feel for her. There was a bit of that in 'New Moon.' Fans got to see a bit of her sensitive side. Her sane side. Her logical side. And her desire to help her family. This time around, she is much more of a participant. She's a survivor. This is her family. So if protecting Bella means protecting her family, she's going to do it."
Jackson Rathbone (as Jasper Hale): "You'll get to see a little bit of the root of what makes Jasper so withdrawn and quiet in the Cullen family. Fans will get some of Jasper's back story in ‘Eclipse.' I got to wear the whole Civil War gear and everything. There's a bit of the softer and darker side of Jasper in this film."

The family that slays together, stays together. At least that's the case for the Cullen brood.

Official Eclipse Website Updates With Cast Photos
From Twilight Lexicon:
The official Twilight Saga movie website has updated the Eclipse section with various photos. The photos are scattered throughout the site in various montages, but they are also most easily seen in the cast section. Notably missing is a shot of Booboo Stewart, Gil Brimingham, Billy Burke, and Bella’s high school friends. We’ve asked Summit for info on these missing people, we’ll update you when we have an answer.
The photos are not as heavily stylized as they were for New Moon. For example the wolfpack doesn’t look like they stopped off for spray tans. Also Alex Meraz, Chaske Spencer, and Bronson Pelletier look much more like themselves than they did in the New Moon group shots where Alex in particular looked very different.
Jackson Rathbone’s hair continues to morph yet again to another style. It’s decidedly less poofy than the previous films and a warmer shade of blonde. speaking of hair, we really liked the photo of Dan Cudmore. The weird combover thing from New Moon has changed.
So which star’s look is your favorite?

Breaking Dawn Release Date!!!! - Nov. 18, 2011
From Snarkfood.com:
Get ready Twilight fans! The official Breaking Dawn release date has been announced. The fourth installment of the Twilight Saga is set to hit theaters on November 18, 2011. Fans will still have to wait a while, however, to find out if Breaking Dawn will end up split into two films.
(Summit Entertainment)
We still don’t know if Twilight: Breaking Dawn will eventually be split into two movies, like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but it’s likely we’ll probably learn that info before much longer. Meanwhile, Twilight fans can go ahead and mark Nov. 18, 2011 on their calendars as the official Breaking Dawn release date.
We are especially curious about how the book conversion for the final installment of the Twilight series will turn out on film for Breaking Dawn. Unlike previous Twilight movies, author Stephenie Meyer will actually be hands-on as a producer for Breaking Dawn. Plus, we’re hoping for very good things out of Oscar-winning director Bill Condon.
Speaking of Meyer, the Twilight author gifted Breaking Dawn actors with a special treat to help them immerse themselves more fully into their characters – advance copies of the new Twilight novella The Brief Second Life of Bree Tanner! For the rest of us, we’ll have to buy our copies or wait to read it free on Meyer’s website June 5th.

Kristen's Black Chanel Gown at the Costume Institute Gala - Hot or Not?
Kristen Stewart was one of many celebrities who attended the Costume Institute Gala Benefit yesterday (May 3rd) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. She wore a black taffeta & tulle embroidered Chanel gown with her hair pinned up.
We understand it's high fashion, but that doesn't make it highly attractive. We're not crazy about the "Twillight" star's dress. What do you think?

'Breaking Dawn' Director Has a Message For 'Twilight' Fans
From Movieblogs.mtv.com:
Bill Condon, Oscar winner and recently confirmed director of "Breaking Dawn" (yes, both parts), hit Facebook on Friday even with a lengthy message for "Twilight" fans. In short: don't worry, he digs.
What, you want details? Fine! He starts off with some basic stats: "I've read 'Breaking Dawn' twice, rewatched ['Twilight' and 'New Moon'] 2-3 times each, have all four CDs playing in my car, and have Catherine's notebook, Mark Cotta Vaz's companion books, and even Volume 1 of the graphic novel here on my desk -- a corner of my office is starting to look like Hot Topic." He goes on to acknowledge that this doesn't even grant him "newborn" status, but he's certainly committed himself to immersing himself in this project, if nothing else.
Condon goes on to profess his love for monster movies of old and for vampires in particular, naming "Dark Shadows" as a key influence. That love is apparent in "Gods and Monsters," the 1998 drama that earned Condon an Academy Award for his writing. The movie, which stars Ian McKellen and Brendan Frasier, charts the final days of "Frankenstein" director James Whale's life.
The most telling bit, the part that I think you hardest of core fans will appreciate most, comes close to the end:
"The wonderful world that Stephenie has created has obviously struck a chord with you, and I don't think it's difficult to see why. For me, her characters are simultaneously timeless, yet very modern. Rooted in a beautiful, real landscape with a great sense of place, Bella, Edward, Jacob, and the rest of the Forks/La Push menagerie, experience emotions that are primal, and universal: desire, despair, jealousy - and it all comes to fruition in BREAKING DAWN. This is a final chapter in the best sense; not just wide in scope and scale, but emotionally charged and intense throughout."
You can find the full text of the letter over on Facebook. Condon, who has already confirmed that the movie won't feature any musical numbers, invites fans to ask him questions about the project in the comments section.

Bella's Engagement Ring Now Available
From Eclipsemovie.org:
We caught our first full glimpse of the most anticipated engagement ring — Bella Swan’s engaging ring from Edward Cullen!
The ring, which is described by Stephenie Meyer in Eclipse as -
“Nestled into the black satin, Elizabeth Masen’s ring sparkled in the dim light. The face was a long oval, set with slanting rows of glittering round stones. The band was gold — delicate and narrow. The gold made a fragile web around the diamonds.”
Stephenie Meyer collaborated with Infinite Jewelry Co. to design the ring.
Here is more info on the ring -
"Experience your romance with Edward Cullen in a whole new way when you slip on Bella’s Engagement RingTM! You’ll love showing off the radiant stones in this elegant, domed-oval, gold ring. In true Victorian-era design, your ring is created by master artisans with an open-work gallery and a finely polished edge that surrounds the brilliant faceted stones. How exciting for you to own the only, Original, Bella’s Engagement RingTM in the world!
The ring that Edward gave to Bella is described as gold, so if you want your ring to be exactly like Bella’s, order Yellow Gold; or if you prefer the silver or white-gold look, order White Gold."
You can order the white gold version here and the gold here! The prices range from $59 to $1999. If you order now you can also save up to $20! The more expensive version of the ring is the HQ ring, with genuine diamonds etc. You can get the Fashion version of the ring for $35 right now!
I know this post may spark some hate towards the ring chosen for Bella. But we all need to remember that this was Stephenie’s vision. And she did stay true to her description (as noted above) of the ring.

Full Character Images from Eclipse
From Twilight Lexicon:
Some new promo images from Eclipse hit the internet. What makes these unique is that they are full sized body images of Edward, Bella, and Jacob. We’re not sure where these will be used, but the remind me of the window decals used in Burger King for New Moon or for stand ups in book stores. Note to Hillywood: Bella is NOT wearing plaid in this picture!
