From the LA Times: It's true, Twilighters! A famous young actress may be getting a role in "New Moon."No, no, not Vanessa Hudgens.
But Dakota Fanning has confirmed that she’s in talks to join the cast of "Twilight” sequel, “New Moon," as Jane the Volturi vampire.
But she didn’t spill any secrets to HitFix, saying simply, "It's definitely possible. I really hope it works out," Fanning says. "It would be a really fantastic experience I'm sure."
**This could possibly happen ~ Dakota is in the Summit film Push. What do you think?

ya know, i actually think she would rock the part of jane. i hope she gets it.
she's a very talented actress and I think it would be great for the movie too. I'm all for Crispin Glover getting the role as one of the volturi also.
She's not who I envisioned as Jane while I read the books. I don't know, she's alright I guess.
They should be careful casting Dakota Fanning for New Moon, she might steal the show
Ya know, I never thought of her...but now that I tyhink about it I think she might be good!
I really didnt imagine someone like her as jane...i think she sucks and she is sooo ugly too..
