New Moon Logo

From MTV.com: As Juliet once said to Romeo: A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Now, modern-day star crossed lovers Bella Swan and Edward Cullen are getting ready to carry on with their cinematic love affair. But will the second “Twilight” movie smell as sweet now that it has a brand-new name?

MTV News has the scoop on the official name and logo for Chris Weitz’s soon-to-film sequel to “Twilight.” Dubbed “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” (although the title treatment leaves off the “’s”) the film’s official title art stays true to the look of the first movie while swapping in an orange tint, a subtle crescent moon, and the release date of 11.20.09.

hmmm...not sure if i like the added words. i think they did this because of people's obsession with the word "twilight" and the writers still want it to remain associated with twilight fever. they did it hoping more people would see it i guess? i personally think they should have just left it "new moon" because thats what the book is called. adding the extra words makes it too wordy. anyone else agree?

but i do love the colors and the font. it looks good!

I agree. It would be like: The Star Wars Trilogy...The Empire Strikes Back. Hmmmm, I think we're all smart enough to figure it out :-)

And I don't know about the colors ~ seems a bit Halloweenie to me. But hey, I do love Halloween!
