Breaking Dawn Headed for the Big Screen?

Summit has yet to confirm the greenlight for Breaking Dawn, but I think we're all pretty confident it will happen. How could it not?!? You can't just stop at number three! C'mon now. Marc Malkin gives us the scoop (And Marc Malkin knows his stuff):

"Breaking Dawn will be made into a movie! While there's been no official announcement that all systems are go for a fourth Twilight flick, a rep for Summit Entertainment promises that Eclipse will not be the last we see of Robert Pattinson & company...'The fans should rest assured the we're working with Stephenie Meyer to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen,' the rep said. 'As in all creative processes, things take time. We want to make sure we get it right.'And as Twilight fans know, that probably means softening the more hard-core aspects of Breaking Dawn."

I'm guessing if they didn't "soften" certain aspects of Breaking Dawn, it could turn into a horror film (lol). I'm curious to how the birth scene will play out. This is so exciting!

the birth scene should be easy, I've seen worse on regular shows like er, bones, csi...

uggh! i liked the birth scene! it was scary, nerve racking and you had no idea if bella was gonna live! it was like the whole big thing of all the books.... i really really hope they dont cut it out of the movie.....

Not so fast twilight fans! There is a law suit filed in Federal Court seeking to "impound" all the breaking dawn books, and "Stop" the movies.

No lie, check out TMZ.com, or like any other major news outlet

I read that Breaking Dawn would probably be turned into 3 different movies instead of one since it's really long and so many things happened. Guess we'll have 2 wait and see.... ;-D

I cautioned a coworker whose preteen daughter began reading twilight, about the 4th book. I am sure as a movie they can soften the birth.

Anonymous,
You're right about the lawsuit that was filed. We have a post scheduled regarding that. Thanks for the heads up!
